Full build and restoration on my 1972 chevelle (start to finish) “before and after” 

I actually did all the work myself I bought all new sheet metal including floor pans, both quarters, door skins, fenders, and the hood for around 2000$ This paint job will cost you around 10,000$ in labor mainly because it’s a tricoat which is a little bit harder to spray out This was actually my first paint job, so it’s not perfect, but it’s good enough for me But this car is actually my first car, and my only car so this actually my daily

@@braidenblacksher 😂 wow same here, my profile picture is me when i was little infront of my dads 1972 chevelle with a 454, i turned 18 in october 2020 and bought a 72 with a 454 aswell for $8,000 running and driving only thing missing was rear interior panels, i ended up smacking the passenger fender so the cars sitting in the backyard for now but i’m saving up to restore it, i figured atleast 15-20k can get me new metal, body work and a repaint, then later down the line i’ll upgrade the engine and suspension, but yea mine was my daily driver from around january till august when i smacked it, still starts up and drives but i decided 6mpg wasn’t a good way to get around😂 good luck with the car and i hope you hold onto it cause the value is only going up!

@@454ko3 wow yea I thought I was the only kid that liked old school muscle these days😂 But that sucks about you wrecking your car but it happens, but you still got a smoking deal on that car man But your not off on the prices cause body shops are stupid high priced, the only reason I can affford to have a car like this is cause I did all the work myself with the help of my dad But good luck on finding a good body shop👍 What state you live in? @@braidenblacksher thanks man and forsure. im located in grosse pointe michigan. i just grauated and i was the only car on the lot older than 2000, everyone drives there parents jeeps and fords. even though it was a few months ago i still remember not being able to wait to hear that bell ring and the two rocks before my engine started.
