It really is a very beautiful place but winter causes me some problems. So this video is 3 years old am I'm just now seeing it on RU-vid. I'd just like to say, from the beautifil hills of the Appalachia in wild & wonderful West Virginia USA where I currently reside, wonderful work on that guitar, and the playing demo is not too bad either if I do say so myself. I particularly like how you added a melody line over the chords and then added the harmony on top. Very nice.

Nice work. I have to say I've never been a fan of Pau Ferro fretboards, they always looked like rosewood that's been left out in the Arizona desert for 5 years and is in desperate need of moisture treatment. But you got so polished that it almost looks like it's been lacquered and buffed glossy, and it's looks great. I'm surprised with all the work that's gone into it that you want with no name pickups and hardware, it's like putting bumper stickers on a Bentley. I'd been doing refrets without a jig for years, what a difference it makes once I started using one.

Wow. You are running an old classic Jazz Chorus amp. I think by Roland. I have not seen or heard one in years. And I have never heard one do distortion that sounds anywhere near as good as yours does with that guitar on the harmony swells. Those Jazz Chorus amps can have the best clean tone ever, when you want sparkling clean. They sparkle.

Wow what a beautiful project! Only thing is I would recommend trying titebond 2 or titebond 3 for a stronger hold. The "original" is not very strong over long periods.. also 2 and 3 are waterproof to protect against moisture.

Thank you! The idea of using the resin, I had taught from the New Zealand amateur luthier. The Telecaster is a simple shaped neck end, but I think it's a great idea for making more complex shaped neck pocket jigs!

I do not like to treble of the guitar will be suppressed by the shielding. So I always finish it without shielding at first. If it is too noisy, we will do it later. Congratulations, very nice work. Affordable materials, but priceless effort, tools, and skills. I like reversed control plate. I always questioned myself why Fender doesn't make it that way because it is much better when the volume control is first in line, it is much more accessible that way, so I always reverse it on my Telecasters.
