Hi, I am the woman who praised your singing in the samadhi hall, near the old hall's window, where you stood a few moments for prayer (probably on 5th April) ---- I'm sorry I forgot to add that day how beautifully you play the veena too. I regretted it later, but got the opportunity now nevertheless. You are truly blessed and I hope you always remain under Bhagavan's grace 🙏🏽😊
Ramana's performance was as always Out-of-this-world and truly phenomenal, with both an ethereal RTP and a power-packed Thani. The transition from Kalyana Vasantham to Madhuvanti at 2:09:06 particularly captivated me, silencing my mind completely. And the rendition of 'Udayadri Pai' in Madhuvanti towards the end left me deeply moved.🥹
Sri Patri Satish Kumar and chandrasekhara sarma gave you andhave beengiving you immense support. Ranjani alapana excellent . Master Ramana in Ranjani youcould have brought the upper octave sancharam and a waterfall sancharam which is highlight for ranjani raga. You sang and played very well the song Mayamma Shubhamimma. God bless you Ramana.
As always Ramana Balachandran slowly injects the top class nector of the raga into the soul, which one cannot easily come out to normal world immediately. Very very deeply he immerse us into the joy of divine music. Always a privilege to listen to his manodharma. I bow down to the feet of great Nada Bramha and Sangeetha Sarawathi in you Shri Ramana Balachandran garu🙏
May I ask a rhetorical question to celebrate this phenomenally musical global youthful Genius using the author of VAkyapadeeya's famous classification? Which of the six types of PRatibhA प्रतिभा is NOT manifested here with brilliance, namely, चरणज, स्वभावज, अदृष्टज, योगज, विशिष्टोपहित, and अभ्यासज ? We are all blessed to live contemporaneously with this young Maestro without any equal and receive his gifts of music!
Ramana, your playing style (in particular how much time you spend on the panchama string) calls for more sustenance. I think your audio setup has been optimized to bring out both your vocals and the veena. You are better off running a parallel setup for your voice, if possible. That might also help with the distracting thump I hear on each hard pluck from your use of metallic nails. Keep up the good work.
