Really enjoy watching you create and restore items. Very nice job of creating all of the tools needed to keeping your saw in great working order. 👍❤👋🙏🙏🙏
@@ThelonelyscavengerWasn't that long Ken,if a video has substance and creativity the time of it doesn't matter, Many You Tubers that have skill sets like yourself are doing longer videos, to show the process of the project they are working on. I found it very interesting as I do all of your videos.
Thanks for showing the handmade tools and sharpening process. I own an array of both 1 man and 2 man bucksaws as well as a falling saw. Sadly that are wall decorations but i might be inspired to do something with the 1 man some day, as it is in pretty decent shape.
Great job on the saw and making the tools, Ken. I found a bucksaw at a sale. Tried cutting with it. No go. Rakers were never cut down but they kept on filing the teeth because the saw would not cut. So now it would be a big enough job to fix. Thank you for the video. Stay safe and stay warm
Back in the day my dads friend sharpened regular saws but its hard to find people or even the tools to do that nowadays. If you have the room that saw would look nice hanging securely on a wall. Thanks for taking the time to watch my friend 💛✌🙏
@@Thelonelyscavenger I had a nice one man cross-cut and a nice broadax. Stupidly gave them to my brother. I picked up a new dry wood blade for the bucksaw and it is down here ready to go. Grandpa used to sharpen saws. Thank you for the reply, Ken
That's a huge saw and you did an awesome job on the restoration. Amazing and very impressive my friend. I like your toolbox and those tools help you make your project successful. Watching everything and thumbs-up. The winter camp is looking good and the saw is working great. Have a fantastic weekend
Yeah its a bit of a process. I usually take the saw home every season to sharpen it except for this year. I've been using up some old transmission fluid to help lubricate the blade
