Sir this video made me feel relaxed and more exciting about finally working as a developer more than those other "day/life of a software engineer" this video seems more raw and genuine than others. Aside from future moments of stress this industry seems like a dream compared to all the physically demanding jobs + order filling tasks ive done before.

@@jerryg5972 It really depends. I'm a web engineer and I never had too use anything but the most basic math in my work. But if you want to do machine learning or AI you need to know a little bit advanced math concepts.

As many other people have commented on this video, this is by far one of the best "Day in the Life" videos targetting software developers. Frankly, this video is what gets me excited for a career computer programming. Not all of the fluff that other RU-vidrs put in their videos.

I find more answers from github bug report threads than stack overflow anymore. STO has turned into a mess the past couple years. You find most of the best answers from years ago now and it's pretty frustrating.

@@jmw.17_65 did a little bit of web development stuff from freecodecamp and after consulting with some friends started picking up Python. Gonna try to learn that as my first language and then hopefully transition into c# and grow from there. The dream job would be to get into game development but for now just learning the basics and maybe finding a junior developer position is the primary focus :)

Really happy that your company values the importance of giving you the time to take your prays. Makes the heart grow fonder. These are the type of environment that really lets you find great people to work along side with. Unfortunately I’m not the best in coding. Yet doesn’t stop me from seeing the opportunity where I would like to end up working for an app developer company or for my own inshallah.

I just wanna ask you for a little help: One year ago I started leaning programming teaching by myself with different apps and a few very cheap courses. I’m thinking now after one year more in uk to go back in my home country(Bulgaria) and to start studying course for web developer. How I can come here back in UK if I decide to come back again and to start work in a small or a big company and in the same time until I’m working to develop myself more and more? Do I have to go through programming courses or if I have the big base and I can work this job I can start straight away job in this sphere? :)
