Do you got admission in vit CSE through jee mains or any other exam please let me know . Also can you tell me have you cleared jee mains , if yes than how you prepared for it and through which coaching classes . Please help as I have just passed my boards and I am really very confused about classes and if I should go for cet or jee

@@raosahab04 Hello 👋 unexpected notification 😅 it's been an year 😂. First of all don't stress too much and never watch too many youtube videos regarding it as they drain your will to study 😂(firsthand experience). Currently I'm in VIT Vellore and I'll be starting my 2nd year soon, I have a 9 cgpa so like BITS I too get the 0 attendance policy. Even though my main aim was to get into bits unfortunately I didn't get 75% in HSC boards (that system sucks tbh) cus I actually got around 90 marks in jee advanced but couldn't clear the chemistry cutoff (imo our batch had a difficult chem paper and my chem is weak 🥲). I had gotten very good marks in bitsat but due to the 75% rule and also as I didn't clear adv subj cutoff I was only left with the choice of going to VIT. BTW only 10000 get into good IITs from the 14lac students that sit so it's obvious not everyone gets a seat but that doesn't mean they failed, life just has something different in store for them... I might have strayed from the topic, back to your question, honestly coaching classes have two important things , teachers and students, the notes they use are all rebranded copies of old Kota academies, teachers should know the subject they teach very well and your peers/ classmates should be people who talk about questions and tests rather than actors and sports (this is where batches come in). As for whether you should focus on jee or cet as per the latest trends their level is almost similar, you see jee mains level has been dropping these past few years and I personally gave CET casually as I didn't want to stay in the same state 😂 yet I got around 97% and actually 2 of my friends who had lower scores in jee for 99+% and are now in pict, coep etc. Oh and i almost forgot, I got to vit through VITEEE, these universities have their own exams and take their own fees but personally I gave exams for all universities like MET, KIIT, VIT, BITSAT, etc. for backups which saved me a year. I had no intentions on a drop even though I believe I could get into IIT with that time but I consider my time to be more precious and accept the result of my one year of trying to be what it is right now. I'll be going to a Foreign University next year that is higher ranked than iits so that's all good. And a last bit of advice to whoever this may reach, University degree is just a sheet of paper unless you have the skills to back it up, I have seen high school students better at coding that graduates and also earning way more 😂😂😂 One of my teachers was the vice head of placement cell (luckily got him through ffcs) and he honestly said that when the hr will ask you questions in placement, he will say, " You have a degree from one of the best universities in India and that's good.... But what else have you done other than this?" Think about it. Companies don't want glorified students to take their jobs they want skillful and qualified technicians, focus on earning the skills in the field you like whichever it might be, and before thinking about it atleast take a week worth of action as a single action is worth a thousand thoughts. I actually have started various ventures myself and now that I turn back and see myself from last year it's like a completely different person. Don't worry and stay strong, life is to be enjoyed.... Human lives are too short to be spent worrying or being sad. You can ask particular questions if you want to I'll be happy to help.
