Thanks to Paul from me and my family, as well as the countless people I’ve met in the street who asked me to thank Paul for the improvement in their health from knowledge they gained from him. And thank you to everyone watching this video with a willingness to learn and think for YOURSELF. ♾❤️
Turn and run Patrick! What good are bulletproof knees if your heart blows out? Saturated fat and salt will have you keeling over at 60 while you still have 60 years left on your joints!
@@Livingtabitha simply watch some reviews of Paul Saladino. Carnivore diet like Paul Saladino pushes is not healthy by any scientific metric we have. Check out nutrition made simple or plant chompers. Or even go online a look for studies yourself. The more I read about diet, the worse the long term effects of carnivore diet seems to be. For instance, if you look at the life spans of doctors who encourage a carnivore diet and the doctors who promote plant based diets, the plant based diets have a statistically significantlonger and healthier lifespan.
Im 17 years old and just started my senior year of highschool. Bringing 1lb ground beef, a huge container of fruit, and a bottle of honey everyday garners some weird looks and questions. But, I cannot fully express how much of a difference your advice has made in my life. My attention span during class is extremely consistent and solid throughout the whole day, along with my energy. I vividly remember last year, junior year, eating a bagel during 1st period, and being asleep in class by 3rd, everyday. Now I have the energy to go to the gym practically right after school, work a 3hr physically intensive work shift, do homework, and barely feel tired! Thank you! I try to tell as many peers as possible about you, and I have begun to understand how to effectively explain your advice to people in a non-intimidating manner. I have even helped convert my ex-vegetarian friend to animal-based, bringing in a pound of ground beef for him everyday, and he feels the same improvements I do. So much energy! I hope that soon I can help more of my family and friends make the same improvements I did. I literally would never have done it without you. (p.s. I HATE people idolizing celebrities/influencers, but now I understand lol)
Remember that humans are only designed to eat fruit for a few weeks a year and only honey a few times a year. Modern fruit is a GM sugar bomb we're not designed for and I would advise only eating raw honey and only if you feel you need the carbs. Eating that much fructose every day all year when you're not designed for it is likely to have consequences. Also, never eat meat and fruit at the same meal, look up the Randall Cycle, Bart Kay has good explanations.
I’ve seen comments that say oh my goodness eating this way is expensive, I’d say you are worth it! Cut your costs for amusement, because a long healthy life span is far more important than temporary entertainment!
Spend on good burger meat, save on not buying buns, veggies, condiments and fries. Save on buying $8 bag of chips and buy better milk and butter. This is the way
Definitely excited. Listen to his podcast with JRE. He even says himself he gets pumped to talk about the effects of his exercises and how it helps us!
In real life I’m very chill. I get excited because lack of this data resulted in painkillers, surgeries, and depression for me. So when I think about the exercises I feel the opposite of that! 😅
@@TheKneesovertoesguy of course! Your enthusiasm is motivating for so many people including myself. I’ve been spending my mornings watching your videos reversing the damage driving for 4 years has done to my hips and back. Thank you!!
I appreciate Paul's openness to keeping an open mind, continually searching out and reading new research, and paying attention to how his own body responds to his diet. He's not inflexible in his thinking like many of the other influencers in this space, and he regularly recommends that his followers/readers/listeners not change a thing if they're already in optimal health. A very different tone than many of the other influencers as well. He shows more humility, and less of an "I-know-everything-just-do-what-I-say/do" attitude. With that approach, he also doesn't contribute to the divisiveness within the carnivore community that so many of the other guys do. And isn't that more conducive to converting plant-based eaters over to being animal-based?
As a plant based eater, I would disagree. What would go further to get someone like me is to see solid scientific evidence that a carnivore diet is healthy, much less than optimal. Paul Saladino and the other carnivore diet influences only have anecdotal evidence. When an actual scientific study comes out, it says don't do carnivore diet. On the other side, all the scientific papers I have read concerning plant based always conclude that it is probably the best way forward. Show me conclusive, repeatable and solid scientific papers and I will change my position. I haven't yet been presented with such. And I have consumed a lot of carnivore diet videos and websites. I would also say scientific papers as well, but unfortunately that is a pretty good information desert.
@@jordanjtbraun you keep saying carnivore like it means something. Neither of them are carnivore. Bens been eating this way for 3 years and feels better than he ever has. Who are you trying to convince? I used to be “plant based” and I was always bloated and my joints hurt. You’re just as bad as the carnivore community. If being plant based works for you then great that’s awesome. But it doesn’t work for everyone. So drop your dogmatic bs and go live your life doing what works for you and stop trying to push it on others.
@@jordanjtbraunThere are a lot of people in the carnivore community who arrived here because they were either chronically ill or formerly vegan/plant-based and not thriving. I'm one of those people; I struggled with chronic illness my whole life, and I tried pretty much everything with minimal results. I even strictly followed AIP for seven years - grass-fed/finished/organic/etc. meat, lots of organic vegetables, didn't eat out at restaurants, avoided sugar/carbs/processed/packaged foods, cooked all my meals from scratch...my health improved greatly, plateaued, and then deteriorated. It was the most bizarre thing to experience, and it's what brought me to try carnivore three years ago. Currently, this is the best I've felt my entire life, both mentally and physically, and I have consistently perfect blood work to show for it. I think the thousands of personal testimonials, especially from those who've been following a carnivore way of life for decades, including hunter-gatherer tribes, has to count for something. I'm glad I educated myself on it and took a chance because that's the only way I could've believed it myself. Hopefully, there will be more and more studies in the future that will help change more people's minds. If you're willing to try it, though, I think you should see for yourself. Everyone I've come across in the comments sections of various carnivore channels who has knocked carnivore diet has never even tried it, so I find it difficult to take their comments seriously.
@adrielbadillo1942 "Ultimately it’s up to you on whichever diet you decide to be on." Very true. And for me, I desire the best diet. I also do not want to rely on my opinion. So I look to science and scientific studies. Which is my standard when trying to figure out what diet to adhere to. Fads are worthless. Anecdotal myths are unreliable and contradictory. Science is where I look to, repeatable, reliable and consistent. And I don't like to look at others opinions about the science, but really what the science can (and cannot) tell us. I have been looking at this topic for 25 years. Since the beginning, I have found the science and evidence to be very convincing, very steady, and very consistent. The science seams to be telling us that a plant based, whole food diet is the optimal diet, perhaps with a bit of fish thrown in there as well. Mediterranean diet. It is not anecdotal (I became vegan and got a whole bunch more energy; or veganism cured my cancer!) . It is repeatedly observed scientific evidence. The research on the carnivore diet is much less cohesive and definitely less dependable. Many of the doctors who support a carnivore style diet hardly ever quote studies, or if they do quote studies they grotesquely misrepresent the findings. The majority of the evidence that these doctors parade out are anecdotal evidence. "My friend went carnivore and it cured his snoring!" It is not very strong nor is it really convincing. It is more concerning that many of the promoters of this type of diet, historically, have then gone on and died of cardiovascular disease. Heart attacks and strokes. And at a relatively young age. If you do not believe me, the channel Plant Chompers goes through the historical papers, books and authors of people who supported different diets and recorded the age they died and causes. Definitely some clear trends and not ones that flatter keto and high fat low-carb diets.
So much valuable content in 1 video. Ive been following Paul and Ben for some time now and have been completely animal based for around 12 month now, never felt healthier. One thing I love about these guys is they don't preach to you, they give you the information, link it to studies and tell you to make your own mind up. And they're not afraid to go back, and adapt to the research available, takes a true science mind to be able to adapt with the research that's available. Keep the content coming!
Been on the animal based life style for a year now.. I used to sweat soo much at night to the point where I got frustrated cuz the bed would be SOAKED. My feet use to sweat soo much during cold days. That’s all gone now. I feel soo much better and who doesn’t love steaks, fruit and honey. Milkshakes with raw milk little raw heavy cream with frozen bananas , coconut meat and honey!!!!!!!!!!! THE BEST!!! Thanks Paul, your the best 👍👌
Paul…I had disc replacement surgery on my back in early 2022…still going through recovery and put on some weight due to inactivity. I was inspired by your birthday video on Instagram and changed my eating habits a month ago and dropped 11lbs and feel much better in so many ways..thank you!
Great information both Paul and Ben I'm a 58 year old from Australia have been using Ben's exercises for about 12 months after I injured my knee at cross fit and Paul thanks so much for your fantastic dietary information, since eating just breakfast the way you do it I noticed that in the gym I'm much stronger fitter then ever, your awesome mate
its crazy. ive been a paul saladino fan way before it was cool. and i was also a ben patrick fan way before it was cool. and now seeing this is like watching two super heroes teaming up.... awesome podcast brothers
I was so excited to find this video of the two people together who changed my life the most. Watching Ben and following the exercies in his book has dramatically dimished my knee pain. I have also been eating carvivore since January 1st, following Pauls diet with a little fruit and honey. This was a game changer for me. I suffered horrible hot flashes, every 15 minutes all night long. Since eating this way for the last 2 months, my hot flashes are completely gone!!! I sleep all night without waking up! I feel like a new person. Ladies, if you are suffering from menopause, try this, it is a miracle.
I am 29 and STILL suffer from my knee dislocating EXACTLY how Ben explained. Scared to go to jiu jitsu most days because of it and I have always had trouble fixing the problem. And of course doctors never helped lol Going to add the 90 90 pushups to hopefully help! Thank you guys!
I’ve literally had the exact same problem, three knee dislocations in jiu jitsu, scared to move into a ton of positions. An animal based diet has improved almost all aspects of my life, and looking to implement bens mobility stuff to improve even more! I hope your knees improve too brother!
I have been doing animal based for about a year now! I originally did it to cure my chronic migraines. I do have to say, food is definitely medicine because I hardly ever get them anymore now! I have also convinced my mom to start the diet as well and she has already lost 10 pounds in about a month! Thank you for your research. It has truly helped me live better !
That's what I'm saying! Two guys who are extremely benefiting the world with their knowledge and then proving the health of so many humans. So happy they got together and collabed on this video
I'm gonna add these exercises to my animal-based eating to try to heal the extensive damage to my joints and tendons from Lyme disease. You're both doing a service to the world.
@@matthew4712 My comment will get deleted. I would just look into the information I gave above. Let me know if you can’t find anything, and I will try to get a comment through. 😀
Two of the most groundbreaking honest sensei's in the health and fitness industry... So glad you guys are working together.. I recommend both of you to everyone i know that will listen.. For me, the animal based diet( pauls hamburger ideas specifically) are changing my life.. Allowing me to stick to the same food while be satiated. And the split squat alone is bringing me back to health and mobility.. God bless you and your familys! Mucho Gracias Amigos! 🙏
So glad I took a chance and give Paul's meat plus fruit diet a go. I was convince that meat only was the way, but I was still having problems. The meat and fruit diet which I tweaked for myself helped tremendously. I dont have any muscle and joint pain anymore and I believe it also cured or atleast help with depression. Thank you Paul.
Had to comment on the kid squat. I was blown away when I saw how guys from pakistan could just squat down like kids. After watching my own toddler squat down and really I studied him, I saw his back was rounded so I think its ok its natural.
Seriously just walking around my house backwards with ankle weights due to finding your videos last year has totally fixed my knee issues. So, Thank you Ben!!! I'm going to check out your program, I'm so excited to continue strengthening my feet, ankles, knees and hips. Btw Paul the link to your Animal Based Calculator says 404 Page not found. Please fix the link, I want to see the calculator!! I've been carnivore for just 5 months now and have lost 25 lbs...working towards losing 30 more lbs hopefully by next year and to work on my autoimmune issues!!! Thank you both, this video is stellar!!!
Out of all the diets I have tried since I was 16 now 40 this makes perfect since to me. I fell Victim to diet culture forever. I have all know with my body shape as a women with big boxy shoulders I should be eating more like my ancestors. Wild game and grass fed beef! I have ate so much chicken since I was 16 that I can’t stand it now. I am pre menopausal and over the last 3 years became sedentary after. I was super active before as I was a fitness group class instructor. Everything you both said made so much since. I see the SAD( standard American diet) diet and how it has effect my kids and my self! It’s time to make some changes! And live our best healthiest life. I appreciate y’all’s knowledge! ❤
Oh and leafy green vegetables tear up my stomach so bad and I always wonder why! And know I know! I’m excited to eat more fruit as I always avoided them because well “to much sugar” “to much carbs”😂
Great video! You two are so fun together. I’m 62yo and had to cut carbs because of sliding towards diabetes. I’m a carb addict (that’s why my metabolic health tanked) so I need to stay away from fruit, honey and milk. For athletes with a healthy metabolism and who can moderate carbs, I agree the nutrition Paul Saladino recommends is excellent. I’m enthusiastically embarking on Ben Patrick’s Knee Ability Zero program to bullet proof my knees, ankles and feet. I’ve been plagued with various issues for years from sitting at a desk all day. Now I crave movement and exercise. Thanks to both of you guys for caring and sharing your profound knowledge that restores us to our natural health and movement. ❤
Love the workout moves and going to start adding a little fruit. On carnivore 5 months weight down 24 pounds. Have had to buy new jeans three times, smaller size each time. Exercises should make working in the yard much easier and also easier to walk my 3 miles every day at 74. Great job guys.
Soak the liver on milk for around 10 minutes. Transfer to a plate and sprinkle salt, garlic, cumin, pepper to season. Add butter and a bit of olive oil to a pan on medium heat, add the liver and cook it 3-5 minutes each side, enjoy it with some avocado! It is a tipical Latin America dish as we enjoy all organ meats!!
This stuff has helped me immensely the last 9 months I went from 260-220 after a torn meniscus and fractured tibia. I got fat after being a commercial fisherman in Alaska the last 20 years of my 29. Cause we thought we could eat whatever when your standing on the deck surfing while working all day. That life turned on me so quick. I took a year off to be with the fam and my body couldn’t handle the “standard western American food pyramid. Gained weight but by this knowledge I was able to change my life for the better and the people around me. Lots of family and friends are getting more stoked about this; so thank you to all in the carnivore community and the What I’ve learned Podcast as well for educating everyone on seed oils and the processed food industry! Paul is the man as well! And just learned about this kneesovertoesguy and it’s amazing! Life changing! Thank you!
Growing up as a little girl, once a week we all went to the grocery store and were allowed to get one thing in the store. My 3 brothers and one sister all ran to the cookie aisle. As the youngest in the family of 5 kids, instinctively ran to the meat counter and selected a container of raw beef liver. When we got home, our Nanny would cut the liver in strips for me and I would eat it raw. I loved the chewing nature of it. Sadly, now I can't even stand the smell of liver. So, I buy Heart & Soil Organs to make sure I get my needed organs. Great Video guys, super helpful!
I love the collaboration the both of you head on this video and the lovely spread that you both partook In I consider the both of you. The master of the field good diet which is obviously the diet that you both were eating and I wish I was there to have took part in it with the both of you. Because I love the energy that you're emitting and I love the confidence that you both have in order to carry out. This healthy lifestyle and your both are inspirations to me. Keep on doing what you're doing. Gentlemen, and keep on being the amazing. Handsome young man that you both are.
After the Corona period, I started to divide the people into two types, the people of light versus the people of darkness and you are definitely the people of light.
Been on the diet for six weeks down 22lbs doing the exercises from this am moving better than I thought I could after multiple back and hip and knee injury thanks
This is what it’s all about to masters in their craft, sharpening each other up. I really do pray I can master my craft and provide great value the same way these two do here! Love the conversation! God bless!
This is an absolute gold mine! I nolonger have access to a sled, had to adapt...so I loaded up the wheelbarrow and use it to push and pull like a sled.
I had hopes that Paul's advice would prevail, however... after 1 year on a strict animal based diet my Total cholesterol went from 112 to 190 and more importantly my Ldl-P went from 905 to 1695 for the first time in my life. Back to a low saturated fat lifestyle for me. Be careful, monitor your blood work, we are all different.
The collab I've been waiting for, went animal based for month of jan then back to normal(ish) healthy eating and my IBS hasn't returned since... mad. After my first marathon in April I've had bad knees, including an injury from an old ACL reconstruction so been now looking into kneesovertoes to build strength for post-surgery and for my good knee. Appreciate the advice you guys give out. Helping lives everywhere.
That was lovely. I rarely watch videos in this length all the way through. I wish to work together as a moviemaker and production services owner. Thank you both! PS. Mercola is finally on Paul's wave too!
A big thankyou to you both for this video. Im a 56 year old male and my body feels like its starting to Seize up. This full body program has come just a the right time, thankyou so much ill will be checking out some of your other programs.
Really enjoyed these exercises and techniques, perfect for me to work with. After 6 weeks carnivore I absolutely understand how the fruit is a gamechanger, especially if you are already lean and active. It was interesting to hear the negatives of carnivore only on podcasts.
I'm a pretty high level athlete, working out about 25 hours a week with total volume. Do ultra Spartan marathon and gymnastics at age 45...; I eat organs nose to tail. Loads of Sat fat .... but fruit and honey is not enough Heavy carbs for me ... I need homemade bread and rice ... I cannot workout for 4 hours daily without it
Why the hell are you stressing your body doing ultra marathons and shit? Runners die younger and so do everyone who does exercise and puts stress to their bodies, stop wasting your life and stressing your heart.
Probably the most actionable and informative video on diet and exercise I’ve ever watched. Thank you guys so much. Question: is there any way you would recommend to regress the leg lockout. I’m terribly tight but is it just as simple as walking away further from my hands?
ok guys this was really good. The exercises session was awesome - ive taken notes. I agree with your way of eating as long as people (as you said) manage the carbs to activity well.
Dr William Davis in his new book "super gut" said "many people have inaventaly lost species from their microbiom, Follow a strict lowcarb wheir it be keto/carnivoire, Atckins an fail to include a variety of prebotic fibers, polythenols and other nutruint microbes need that can only be sourced from plants, not animal prdocts and you do damage to you microboim because the species you have staved out will not just reappear."
"Sprouts" sells Raw dairy.....the company in California is Raw Farm Dairy in Fresno.... they are the only raw producer that sells to markets.... incredible .... I love drinking it
Paul, thank you so much for opening my eyes, adding fruit and honey to my carnivore diet has been amazing for my health and energy. Please consider posting your videos to rumble.
