For 90 days I cared for my father after he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate cancer. I held him in my arms until the Sun came up. We called an ambulance and I never saw him again nor did I get to say goodbye. He was my best friend as well as my hero and I was too much of a coward to stay with him until he went. Listening to your story of how it felt, along with how you went about it was cathartic for me... God bless you, Jim. Hoping to see you in Ocala here in a few weeks.

I was my grandmother’s full time live-in caregiver from when she was 85 to 90 years old. And then again for the last 5 months of her life when the Covid lockdowns began, but that time she came to live with me at my house. I doted on her 24/7, we watched her fave shows & I cooked her fave foods. She ultimately passed peacefully at my house with me cuddled right up beside her. She was 97 and a half! While her memory wasn’t so hot she kept her vision, her hearing, her ability to walk and all her teeth (she was very proud of that last one! 😆) up to the end of her long wonderful life. She was the closest thing I had to a mother. It’s been over 2 years since she passed and I still have a hard time talking about her without crying. I’m crying just typing this. 🙏 While being her caregiver was the hardest thing I’ve ever done it’s also the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. One thing about my grandmother that’s interesting is that her dementia (short term memory affected only) it made her a much more fun and lighthearted person to be around. Her inner comedian came out, so for my family her dementia was actually a blessing in disguise. It allowed her to let go of her worries. It made her a happier person. Man was she funny, so thankful I got to know that side of her that had been hiding all those years 💜 She was a mother to 4 kids and me her sole grandchild.

Phenomenal tribute Jim. My Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in January of 2021 and we lost him in June of 2021. Your ride on this tour was a lot of what I went through. He lived me from the day he was diagnosed to the day he past in my house in June. We had so many fun days in that time and I really got to know him in that time. He made light of everything serious, he was stubborn at times when I was trying to take something serious, he was embarrassed when he went to the bathroom in his pants, he was embarrassed but appreciative when I showered him. Lots of ups and downs brother. He didn’t say it, but I knew that the more I took care of him in his condition the more he knew how much he meant to me. He was old school and a great man! He didn’t hug, kiss, or say he loved me until I was about 28 although I always knew he did. Hard to explain. The only reason he did do those things when I was 28 was because I started hugging him, kissing him on the cheek and telling him I loved him at 25/26. He looked at me crazy at first and asked if I was a fag! Lol! I said, I don’t know how much time we have and I’m not going to live with regret. After AWHILE he started to do the same. He had a tough life so understood. He was a great patient, never complained. When the visiting nurse asked if he wanted the vaccine, he said, “I wouldn’t take that if it cured my cancer because I’d be dead from side effects!” Lol. And the other good memory was when the doctor told me that he had a week to live, I asked the doctors to leave the room and I would be the only person telling him that. I told him, he said he wanted to nap, I cried and thanked him for being the best dad, and thanked him for never judging me on anything I ever did. His response, “That’s because I didn’t know half the shit you did!” Lol. We left the hospital and he past peacefully at my house surrounded by family. Thank you Jim for this documentary. God Bless you brother and keep up the great work!!!

Jim, you are what I consider a REAL man. The term Alpha gets thrown around a lot these days but I've always regarded it as defining a man who protects, loves, and ensures the mental, physical and spiritual well-being of his immediate family and his community at large. And you sir are all of these and more. If society today aspired to raise young men with a similar blueprint we would all be far better off for it. Your parents should be very proud of the son they raised. God bless. All the power and all the love to you and your family.

Cheers Keith! You got this. Eat as healthy as you can, no processed garbage if possible. & The less, & I can't stress this enough less drugs you consume. The better off you'll be. We've been brainwashed to believe different but, our bodies can heal anything, unless we hamper it with toxins. If it wasn't the case humans wouldn't of made it until now. Now every year there's more sick people than the last year. Many great books I can recommend that will change outlooks on everything.. I've studied health and nutrition for years, & watched my parents and grandparents all suffer the same fate, with 1 common denominator.. piles of drugs & "treatment".. if it makes all your hair fall out it's not medicine, it's poison. Chemo and radiation MULTIPLIES cancer cells, it's all in the research that I can share. Anyway.. George wiseman is a 65 year old inventor, who is an incredible human. The machine he's made is literally reversing his aging. It's called aquacure. Sounds like a gimmick, but it's really not. His hair is going from white back to grey. He didn't even patten it offers it so you can actually build it yourself. Unheard of. Did the same with tech to get way better gas mileage etc. Charged 4 dollars to teach it to people. This is the stuff no one talks about and you'll never hear about. Bc it actually helps. No money in healthy people is how big pharma sees it. I don't have an affiliation with him, just captivated with him & his technology. Grew up with no electricity or running water. Fixed everything. There's many more "serious" interviews but since you're on Jim's channel.. this one is on a comedians channel. Give it a listen and you'll certainly get a kick out of it and be blown away. Might even change your life. I'm going try & build one at some point. His one website is eagle-research.com Has a lot of great information on there, I'm still learning. Thought I'd share. Sorry for long comment. Stay positive 😊 open.spotify.com/episode/2vVFmtRtDKk1UYXz6l6VBZ?si=4r2bgEduSU-dyfOIIZljiw&

With surfing most normal people where we surf would think immediately they would die but not guys that surf like us but it’s a comfort zone for us. Anyway before getting married and having children I could have cared less but now it’s one of those things that cross my mind every day even surfing heavy waves lol but that will never deter me from my passion

I love Jim's humor! His dad reminds me of my dad so much - an amazing, but sometimes grouchy man whom I admired greatly. He was a farmer his whole life, born in 1927. He had a nickname around town, he was known as "Mad Dog"😅 The farm equipment dealerships were so scared of him, they'd hide in the back rooms!😂 I am the youngest of 5 siblings, and I took care of my dad until he passed in 2010. And I took care of my mom until she passed in 2015. And I am so thankful I had that time with each of my parents before they passed. I am so very blessed ~ R.I.P. Daddy & Mom💝

Simply awesome. I helped my mother and step father. He and I walked through a lot of letting go and spent time together healing. I shared what we walked through at his funeral and numerous people came to me crying from the pain of carrying unforgiveness. Jim, the time spent with your dad is his legacy living into the lives of so many that will see love in a way rarely seen today. I have a neurological disease and know in a few years I will have to be cared for also. Your stories with your dad are beyond words. Thank you Jim. You're a blessed man.

I have been a caregiver all my life. My mom, granny, and aunties all ran adult group homes for disabled veterans and elderly people with no families. I grew up taking care of people. This was awesome. Salute to you and your dad. So genuine and wholesome. I loved seeing you spend quality time with your daddy. I liked you before I watched this, but I love you after seeing it. Well done Jim, you are a gem. ❤

I lost my dad 2 years ago. I did everything I could to help him out while he suffered from congestive heart failure. Not a moment goes by that I don't think about him or miss him. He was my best friend. I cried most of the way through this video. You always make jokes about your eyes, but let me tell you Brother those eyes are deep. I feel your pain of the loss. Your stories help me deal with my loss. Love the stories. Love your stance on everything. Keep it going man! You are our voice! Thank you! God bless you and your family!

I lost my dad the day he had his 2nd covid booster! That day will be a year ago this Saturday! It was a sudden death at home. I love to listen to my dad’s voice messages he left for me. Watching your documentary made me realize the time I have left with my mom, has to be on her terms, and not mine. Thank you for sharing your life with us. And you will still have people think tht those boosters are good for you. All I have seen from tht utter bs is a money scheme tht is literally rolling the dice, especially the older you are. My father good a booster shot on a monday and on Thursday he has a stroke. NO ONE, I MEAN NO ONE CAN TELL ME , ONE DIDNT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE OTHER. These fcks are playing with peoples life and their quality of life , all for a dollar. Its disgusting.

My dad was in Germany. He served 2 years. Not a lot, but he had a lot of pins he earned. My folks were older, too. My dad was 45 when I was born. He was a happy, funny man, and he loved a good comedian. His favorites were Tim Conway, Jackie Gleason, Red Skelton, and HE was also an avid John Wayne fan. My dad remembered the talkies. Old movies before sound. Men of that era were good, hard-working men.
