My daughter passed 3 weeks ago at 22 months. She is a twin and I miss her everyday. I'm a women of faith so I believe I will see her again but it doesn't stop me from being hurt and sad. I've just been looking for something to help me on this new journey and came across oprah spirtual talks that I honestly didn't even know she did. I'm so happy to have found them an now I've just been watching so many of these videos. They have definitely been helping me through this time.

I had no idea this was the episode I was watching, but I remember watching this when it aired. When that pastor said that being gay is a gift from God, it completely changed my life and the guilt I felt about being bisexual. This episode completely changed something inside of me, how I felt about who I am as a being, and its crazy because I am leaving a six year unfulfilling relationship right now, and this same episode is giving me the same lessons I needed all those years ago, all over again. I'll try not to forget them this time around.

I am watching this as I am 32, always felt that 33 would be the year for me to be who I am and I have been moving towards making it so. So awesome to have found this now 💚 I am an artist and author now but when I was a child I wanted to be an actor and singer but life happened and I know whatever I do, it is what I came for. I know you will all find your joy, your bliss and your highest enjoyments.

Dear Tonya, Hearing your story made me sad. I wonder what happened to you and your family. Your grief wasn’t acknowledged; your fears merely a reason for them to pontificate and tell you what you “should” feel. I’m sorry they didn’t help you realize that, in your distress, God was/is there. You aren’t alone. Life is hard and we all have moments of feeling like we have been abandoned. Real spirituality is the determination to hang on and keep going even when the world is falling apart. The most spiritual people are those who keep going in the midst of their darkness. Every “survivor “ in the show did just that. They kept going. I hope you kept going and emerged from the time of darkness which you shared on the show.

I never felt caring for my two boys was a burden. I cherished every minute teaching & loving them. I was a single mom & worked 3 jobs while raising them and we did everything together. I even called us the "Three Musketeers". I was too tired to feel lost.

They told her everything she needed to hear for her situation outside of here's some money to save your business lol it's just a matter of if her mind is ready to process the given information and what I mean by this is if she's focused on depression she can't possibly be happy because a human can only truly focus upon one thing at a time and if ur focused on depression you're most likely going to be depressed..Now to elaborate what they said in shorter terms would be this.. what doesnt kill you makes you stronger. Truth be told this life is a infinite test as well as a study sheet and all da answers ain't easy but they still got da same purpose to test and ultimately grow ur knowledge not only as a human being but as a all pervading spirit I hope she realizes this so she can rise into her light to come from this situation🙏

I am trying to keep this msg positive for the sake of other viewers. I have followed Oprah all my life but I felt her interview telecast on March 7th 2021 was unworthy of her.. Many people have been triggered and forced to take sides, driving deeper wedges in one particular family. At some point Oprah will have to take accountability for her role in that. But after almost 3 weeks, I am at peace and my belief in my values ( family, respect for the old while being open to the new, and taking personal responsibility for ones own life ) are stronger than ever. Thank you for that, I guess!

Oprah, it's great that you bring such appropriate guests on your show, but please let them speak. I am 17 minutes into the video and have observed you cut people off several times. At the 17:19 mark you do it again. I'm going to continue watching this video, but am hoping someone brings this comment to your attention so that you can work to train yourself to refrain from interrupting people. What they have to say is at least as important as what you have to say......maybe more so. When I host or facilitate, it is my job to let the others shine.

I fully understand why many feel with Tanya and her financial situation. However each answer she got from the teachers, even though it seemed as if they were talking from their relatively very comfortable positions, was a good answer. Only Tanya at that moment was not "hearing", could not hear them, because she was focused, understandably on her urgent situatioj and her care for her family. We forget when we are in urgent situations like these that like Oprah said, we still have many things around us that are good and that do function. You are breathing, you have a loving family, you maybe have your health, etc. I know someone in a much worse situation, uuff, much worse than Tanya's who is waking up everyday thanking God for life, for those around him, for being able to still enjoy life fully and for knowing that: this too will pass!
