it was 2004 when this serial aired and it mostly tackled modern day issues so who can ppl back then understand it's concept??. our parents still don't understand how to use mobile phone specially 80's and 90's born kids parents. so how can u imagine them understanding this?? it's like making them agree for homosexual relationship.

Fun fact : when Sarabhai aired for the first time on Star One, nobody watched the show as Indians were busy watching Kyunki and Kasauti type soap operas. The show went off air as the TRP was very low.

I don’t understand why people stopped making sitcom like this... like you see now people love to watch the content which is relatable. Since this was ahead of time people feel good to see this or friends type of classic show. But our television industry is still busy showing big houses lot of family members. Where actress is doctor but never treated anyone and actor is cricketer but never played a single match😂 PS: no kundli bhagya or ekta maa was harmed in this comment

Siya Ji, it's all based on taste of generations of the era watching the show. These days viewers want double meaning dialogues or monologues . If U r watching web series then U must have noticed that Gali galoch aur sexy or nude scenes are fully loaded. Few years ago all these things were banned in movies but these days movie dialogues are sailing in the same boat. So dear it's time !
