I never understood the concept of having kids without a care in the world but being wary and apprehensive about marriage. I could have sworn that bringing a life into the world was a lifelong responsibility that should be thought through. How is that easier than marriage???

I knew she would break up with him- saw it in her face when he got on his knees... that being said, people don't realize children are more permanent than a damn ring?

Young sisters when I was in my late twenties married with 4 children 3 under age of 5. I thought the grass was greener on other side and asked for a divorce. An older woman my neighbor warned me and said that you know what you got but didn't know what you going to get. If I saw her again I would tell her I didn't get a damn thing. My. children's fatber visited after the divorce but because he wasn't in the home they missed out on seeing two parent household. We need stop saying we want a good man but can't recognize one on his kness. She can help a good man be a better lover but won't be able to teach Tricky Dicky how to be a good man. I'm bearing my soul because I want young black women and children to have a family and stability. Some do but the more the better. I lost my youngest son 2 years ago and now just have lots of regrets. His dad didn't spend as much time with him after he remarried and without a good man boys more likely get into trouble. Black women are strong but can't teach boys how to be men. When i asked for a divorce it was another man sniffing around but he didn't stay for the long haul. He works too much is not an excuse he's not going up side her head. The high school romance butterflies in her stomach fairytale is over. She need to stop worrying about making a right decision and take the decision she made and make it right. I'm done preaching.

She not in love with him. He got lazy or the little efforts he put in at the start when she was a kid, not cutting it for her now as a adult woman and she is feeling neglected and wondering about what else she has missed out on. But also alot of her concerns are valid. The time to find out your spouse won't take care of you isn't when your already are ill and incapable of taking care of yourself. Also after 7 years if he don't know your body sexually he not interested in your needs. They are just not compatible.

I admire that she didn't just rush and say yes but put it on hold and to make sure she saw improvements. 👍👍👍👍

I understand her. The feeling I got from watching them is that he knew everything that bothered her because she said it to him a lot of times. He just never changed anything because he didn't want to. I think he is selfish. How can you have sex that is painful for your woman after she told you, it hurts. They didn't just begin a relationship. They have 2 children, they've know each other for years and you are still treating her with no regards to her needs and feelings? I would run, too.

Just because someone asked you to marry them doesn't mean you have to say yes. She has the right idea about going into a marriage. You fix the problems then get married. A ring won't get you love or keep the man.

Why would it take her 7 years and 3 kids to figure out that he’s not the ONE❣️I knew she was gonna say no because she didn’t even look him in the eyes as he professed his love for her. She kept looking off to the side because she knew she couldn’t look forward to a future with him. It seems like she should’ve figured out if he was more suited for her before she had more children with him. She didn’t just start feeling like this I’m sure. ❌Strike 1- she hurt him when they first started dating when she continued to keep company with other men ❌Strike 2- she called off their 1st wedding date ❌Strike 3- she embarrassed the hell out of him on national television when she rejects your 2nd attempt to propose marriage. I like this dude! Especially when he said "End that cycle of co-parenting"! She doesn't want a good man, she doesn't want a family, she wants to do her own thing. Men need to learn, once a woman has told you (over&over)...what she needs from you, if he ignores it- she'll loose interest and no proposal, public proclamation of love, nothing will change it...you've lost her, its too late.

I’m so glad that she didn’t settle for less than what she wanted/needed; however, there are children involved and hopefully they co-parent well. Too much settling going on, too many children being brought into unstableness, too much lacking and slacking... hopefully there’s an increase of love, light, stability, & balance that flows through this world sooner than later

That was a bit sad, but...you gotta make her feel it! You can say it all you want, but if she don't feel it you ain't goin nowhere. And if you can't find the motivation to make her feel it, then you might have to take some time and re-evaluate why you're there and what you're really doin. Like the Judge said, he seems like a good guy but he has trouble getting in touch with his ability to show empathy, compassion and tenderness. Doesn't make him a bad dude but it will make him an awkward/painful romantic partner. He might not have been raised to operate that way. If so he'd better learn before he gets into another relationship with a woman. IMO.

She needs what you were giving her when you were dating her, that's what's missing...

I am so proud of you Marketa! You were strong in advocating for yourself and you didn't take nice words as though they were pearls. You are smart and beautiful and I know that the world has for you the love you are looking for. Maybe you are the love you need most and spending some time loving yourself may help you to find that someone that will love you the way you need. And Mark I see that you are a good man, and I am proud of you for respecting her decision to leave. It can be hard watching someone you love walk away but how mature are you when you put their happiness in a place of importance above your own personal desires. I really hope that both of you beautiful people have nothing but love and support all around you.

Bottom line, she doesn't love him nor appreciate at him. That's why she is complaining. When he tries to call and talk to her, she says it's to late. Then you complain, he doesn't communicate. She wants the chase, and she wants it her way.

She'll want him when he's good and married to another lady

One of her complaints is she does all the parenting, cleaning, and household duties (starts at 13:46). Yet, she works a day shift and he works the night shift to avoid expensive child care (starts at 7:58, when she totally deflected to avoid the topic of her infidelity). Well doesn't the parenting duty at least fall on him when she's at work? And if it doesn't, aren't you working against what you're trying to avoid. And she won't marry him because he's lousy at communicating and sharing quality time, but if he tries to discuss aspects or his day, she may be disinterested or too tired. She's a nice looking lady, but he (nor any man) will never be able to satisfy her. After calling off the wedding and not giving him credit for anything he does, I don't know why he would propose again. Judge Toler is always telling women (rightfully so) to never let a man define you. In this one case, she should have told this man the same thing about this woman.

I do admire her for not being afraid to voice her needs and standing by them. Ultimately you could tell that she wasn’t 100% feeling it based off her body language especially her facial expressions.

It would've been very easy to feel the pressure to enter into the marriage and just say yes and I respect SO MUCH that she went with her own feelings. Him being a good man doesn't mean he's the right one for her and it's hard to know all the variables when it's condensed down to one day. I'm sure they'll remain cool and do what's best for the kids and with time will find what they need from other relationships.

I felt the pain in her voice behind this man. She has been emotionally abused by a narcissistic man. Many don't understand through the great presentation they display for the audience. She isn’t in love with him. She doesn’t look at him in a special way. I can tell she is cheating on him rn.

What she is trying to say but is afraid to say: "I'm not sexually attracted to him". "I can't get aroused and wet from him". "He isn't sexually satisfying." Without sexual attraction and satisfaction a monogomous relationship won't be successful. Unfortunately she waited too long to figure this out.

I want to say how I can't believe y'all in here mad at her for not marrying a man she's not in love with but I can. We're so used to seeing these crazy, triffling, jobless dudes on the show (and real life!) and think she should be happy in the relationship. Y'all weird wierd. Anyway I wish the best for both of them. They're not bad people but they could've held off on kids before marriage. He right about wanting to end the cycle of "broken homes" and yet put three babies in a woman he wasn't married to yet and before Barbara jumps on me, I'm only looking at him on that because he the one that said it and he's older (I was always taught to look out for the adult males who date teenagers because "somethings not right" when they do).

He isn't an active partner. He's the type of man who thinks that his job is over because he brings home a paycheck. He isn't emotionally available or attentive within the relationship. He enjoys what she brings to the table, but fights against anything that she needs or asks for. They aren't compatible because he can't listen and isn't willing to be thte partner that she needs. I wished that she would have realized that before they had 3 kids, but at least she figured it out.

I love that she said no. I love that she was clear about what she wanted and that she wasn't getting it from him. She didn't let the pressure of being on the show coax her into saying "yes," when she didn't mean it. Why would you marry someone who's not listening to your requests, not tuned into your emotions, or showing up when you're in crisis...especially when that crisis has to do with you having just had THEIR children? He's saying some of the right things. I don't actually agree with the judge on his proclamation of love. It was shallow. It was that she's beautiful, smart and had his babies. He doesn't see her. He didn't mention any of the qualities, nothing they had in common, no shared values, no shared vision for the future and nothing about their relationship that points to "we should be together for the rest of our lives." He basically said, you're cute (so you make me look good and I like looking at you) and you can take care of me and my babies, 'cause you're smart. Really dude? That was weak and nothing to look forward to. Judge just looked at he's not cheating and he's ready to get married to this woman he's already had three children with. What about that they have no relationship and he's not paying any attention to that or the fact that she's not happy? The woman is standing there crying, for God's sake. Oh well. Send the child support and we'll hang out every now and again. He doesn't have enough emotional intelligence to be in a relationship with her.

It happens that after years and years of not doing the right things, not listening etc ...you get yo the point that you don't care if he or she wants to do it too late... cause unfortunately the saying : work the iron when still warm , it is very true. I' ve been in this situation where i did not cared that he wanted to learn to do the right things.. After 5 years of fights, bitterness and psychological and financial abuse... I will allways thank god for the strength that gave me to move forward. ..It took me 2 more years to end everything, cause of a mortgage that we had in common. .. worst than a marriage licence. ..It swear....:))))

After watching the whole episode I agree with her decision he was not going to become the person she wanted it was obvious he was saying everything she needed to hear because they were on television but if we have been together 7 years and I've continued to say these things to you I cannot believe or take you on your word any longer because you have proved to be untruthful
