He may never go back to jail but he'll be serving a life sentence for this. This will forever be his legacy and I don't feel any empathy for him whatsoever.
And it puts a damper on ppl who have been true victims of racism, and it ruins ppls chances of having justice served. The actions of one can and does effect many.
If you watch the part of his GMA interview -- towards the end, where he says he's "one of those people" (people who have survived a hate crime) -- and if you mute the sound, and just watch his face. . . he looks like he's telling Robin he just won an Emmy. His whole face lights up. It's super creepy

@@Ishbikes fr fr anybody who knows how that Chitown cold can be knows ain't NOBODY going out there for no damn Subway nor walking around in that shit with a damn noose in the middle of the night. TF that shit is crazy.
Based on the tragedies of Trayvon Marvin, Lenard Clark (who was knocked over and beaten by a bunch of white kids on the South Side of Chicago over a bike), and, of course, Rodney King, it seemed plausible at first.
It's called being biased and they would jump on anything to play the victim. Not disregarding anything that happened before, but there are laws in place people should adhere to.
People blindly believed Carolyn Bryant she had a whole child lynched. Emmett Till and she has never been charged with a hate crime.. that’s super scary! As well just like Smollett they should be held accountable! Thank goodness no one died in his case
Actually they were cutting his air time and money on empire and he thought this would get him back in good graces ( being a victim & all) . I hope they go into that in future episodes. I watched another RU-vid documentary about it, was really good
I don’t think he was bitter and resentful. He craves attention more than anything. He had a struggling career as an artist. This lie helped catapult a career. If you study the Smollet family. He lived an upper middle class lifestyle in a predominantly white community. He has a great life so I’m not sure why he would be bitter or resentful. It seems he has delusions of grandeur seeing himself as an iconic artist such as Micheal Jackson or Prince.
@@charlesirby1643 -Underneath his “nice guy persona” is a man that seethes with bitterness and resentment. And now that he’s been caught and exposed…his anger has escalated to pure rage. He’s also an entitled child. Jussie wanted to create his own fantasy world in which he was the self-appointed hero.
I know. Why would a white racist hillbilly conservative watch a show like Empire, much less recognize a specific actor from it, and even know the actor was gay? Jussie couldve just instructed them to use racial and gay slurs instead of adding in all the Empire shit. Shows how stupid Jussie thinks the public is.
The moment he kept the noose for the cops and cameras to come see, I felt like something was up. In my head, I would have removed that the moment the attackers left. What if they came up and dragged you by it. This is so embarrassing on so many levels 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
cml524 - Yes! Ive said it for years. A woman lies about a rape, she shd spend the same amount of time the guy wd have to spend if he had done the crime.
The BLEACH is hilarious to me...I'm like wth. Real talk tho I'm Black and MAGA and I didn't want this to be true but I really don't know Chicago like that soooo- I was torn. But when he said the attackers in sub zero nightime weather poured bleach on him I knew this was BS.
I’m kind of disgusted how nonchalant they are given the crime they consensually committed but I think they getting kicks out of Jussie’s pathological lying
The fact that he said he randomly went out at 2am in an ice storm but the attackers had bleach and rope like they were planning on him being there….how did he think that sounded plausible?
@Two Sense Providing a false statement to law enforcement officers or government officials can result in a charge leveled against you that ranges anywhere from a first degree misdemeanor to a third degree felony. A misdemeanor falsication conviction can land you in jail for up to 180 days & leave you with $1,000 fine. Not only did he commit this crime, he wasted useful resources on him instead of the community that needed them. That's why the city was seeking damages of $130,000 from him. He also could have caused a race war! It was already beginning to happen & it was stopped by being proven he was lying the whole time. So he did commit a crime(s).
I'm a black man who has lived in Chicago all my life. Every one of my friends and family who have been here since in the twenties and are buried in the infamous Burr Oak cemetery knows about the weather here which we call the Almighty Hawk. And the Hawk don't have no mercy for no damn body. The boy is a goddamn liar to come up with some shit like that. Outside 20 below going to Subway? Git the hell outta here. I know guys in Chicago who have taken leaks against a wall on that same street, a block away from that Subway, and when they shook their pecker it came off in their hands like a popsicle. Jussie next time pick another city, Chicago doesn't believe this shit.
Considering this man had room service in his apartment complex, I questioned why he was going out to get food at 2am on the coldest night. I really did think he was going to meet someone and got robbed but to find out he faked it is just crazy to me. 😂😂😂

The most aggravating part of this in knowing Chicago is a dangerous city and this wasteman wasted time and resources from the Chicago Police Department
And it added to the lies and narrative of the left that President Trump is a racist bigot, and further divide America when it's really ppl on the left who are racist. President Abe Lincoln fought to free the slaves from liberals, and Democrats still haven't changed.
Jussie lived a life that many people can only dream of. I cannot believe that he thought this was a way for him to become more popular. He must be really sick to make up something like that.
He lived the life that most people do not live financially but he lived with the crazies that most people do have 😂😂😂😂 Rich does not cure whatever it is he has 😂😂😂😂😂
Drugs are dangerous. Not only that. He’s the male version of Annika. Insatiable. All the people and money in the world will never be enough to fill the emptiness inside of him.
I don’t understand how a black man could put a noose around his neck to pull something like this. This guy is really insane to want to disrespect himself in that way just for attention and personal gain. What’s more mind boggling is now that he got caught, he still insists he’s innocent. His own people are outraged over what he did.
exactly. I've wondered the same. I can't imagine what was going through his head when he was pouring bleach on himself and quickly trying to get the noose around his own neck and then taking a deep breath before running back home and pretending to be upset and scared.
I said from the jump that something wasn't right with his story. I was at the beauty salon, and someone asked me what I thought. I told her I felt that Jussie was lying. The next thing I knew, I had 3 women jumping down my throat, saying that I was wrong. When it came out that he did lie, I had the biggest "I told you so" grin on my face when I saw them again!
@@maartjegoede9330 Tell me one bona-fide celebrity that is going to WALK anywhere during a POLAR VORTEX at 2am. It was -21° outside!!!!! At what point does common sense come in when these stories are reported?

When that stuff happens its always when you least expect it! Thats what criminals are counting on, and at the time, you're totally caught off guard, you're not thinking to fight because what if you punch the guy and he pulls out a knife or a gun? I think it was irresponsible for that cop to say that to you! Don't dwell on it

IKR, That gal, banging on about remembering when MLK got hit by a rock to justify her reasoning for believing an obviously bs story by Jussie Smollett smh So many Americans refuse to move on from the past. That's not to say that racism doesn't still exist, but to act like things haven't moved on in a positive way in the last 50 years is untrue, and usually the people who want us to keep living in the past are doing it for selfish reasons, and usually for selfish financial gain.

This was actually done really well. I honestly thought I was done listening to videos about Jussie Smollett, but I was really glad that I sat down to watch this.
Right off the bat? I can see where some bits about this "event" don't seem to make sense, such as two white guys walking around the Gold Coast in the middle of the coldest night in recent Chicago history. They just happened to be randomly carrying rope for a noose as well as a used hot sauce bottle re-purposed as a bleach container. I idn't know about any details of it except the basic ones in the newspaper articles. Two guys wearing Make America Great Again hats tying a noose around a black actor's neck on a Chicago street. It took a little while for it to sink in.
Yep, same here. None of it made sense unless it was all a staged performance. Every detail, we were like… wait, what? Actor, 2 am walk to Subway, in Chicago winter, white MAGA redneck Empire watchers carrying around bleach and a tied noose in a ritzy concrete jungle, the sandwich was unharmed, left noose and bleached sweater on for 45 minutes, didn’t want to report it, refused to give police his undamaged phone even though he was talking on it during the attack, child-like death threat by mail laced with Tylenol, hired 2 Empire actor extras paying them by check, the Robin interview with controlled narrative betrayed by microagressive body language and vague emotional details, and sticking to the story even after proof of hoax. We were throwing penalty flags at our tv, flagrant foul laughter but also sat in stunned silence as everyone tried to defend the indefensible lies as if it made perfect sense to them. Juicy Sommelier got squeezed and came out smelling of bananas. 😂 Quack, quack, quack Mr. Ducksworth.
I live in Michigan. 90 min from Chicago annnnd ain’t no fkn way someone’s just standing outside with their assault equipment ready waiting on a potential victim at 2 a.m. in polar vortex weather 😂😂😂 there’s NO WAY! You have to have water set aside in your heated home because your pipes might freeze in that kind of weather. Your car might not start. And we’re supposed to believe some perps are just posted up outside waiting with some bleach? Stop it Juicy!
This was like if the Hodgetwins made a skit. The brothers came off funny as hell. In the other separate videos one of the brothers said “I gave him a noogie cause I wanted it to look real”
The extremely concerning and horrifying thing, is how quick alot of people were to automatically believe his story, even to the point of not wanting to hear anyone who had questions, and shaming people who even dared to question his story. It really says a lot about the current state of affairs and the willingness for people to want to believe something so much, that they're willing to have blind faith, regardless of the level of ridiculousness. What's most concerning? The ones who wanted it to be true. And they made themselves pretty well known. I thank them for showing their true colors.
This is amazingly put together. Not only for the outrageously funny two brothers but also for having John McWhorter in it. Oh and I'm a liberal watching Fox. And I'm not suicidal!!
Those brothers will do anything for money just because they're funny doesn't mean there not pieces of shit who would have helped jussie Smollett pull off his hoax
This just got me riled up. When I first heard about this story, I didn't immediately know what to believe. When I watched Jussie's interview about it, I fully believed Jussie was lying and I found it appalling bc it may discredit victims of actual hate crimes. Now, after watching this I'm even more confused.
This is hilarious. Someone needs to make this into a movie. I was one of those black people who knew it was BS for the get go and I got attacked by other black people for not believing in Juicy Juice's Empire plot inspired story and labeled as a brainwashed Trump supporter. My favorite lines were "I'm the gay Tupac" and "I went hard on 45".
It’s fox. They love this sh**. Meanwhile their leader wants to get rid of the constitution, murder generals and msnbc, and got convicted of sexual assault. I’m sure a documentary will be made by fox about it. I’m sure.
Why wasn't "the book" thrown at Smolett? I am utterly disgusted that he only served 6 days. The devisiveness he injected into race relations is incalculable.
He must be locked up for the same amount of time his "attackers" would have been had he not staged the whole thing! Justice for Juicy, lock him up! 😏😏🇺🇲
I agree as a black women I'm sorry to all the whites this guy is so disgusting he needs to be in jail what bs he needs the same time a "attacker" would get. I've always said that
The Osundaro Brothers are getting all this praise for being entertaining, but let's not forget that their willingness to participate in this foolishness. If they said no, this hoax would have never happened. They are just as culpable.
I don’t believe them!!!! These brothers are homophobic and the social media gave them this lie to concoct because they saw how Social Media did not believe him. If I m going to stage a crime it would not have been at 2 or 3 am in the morning and in the freezing cold. Just because they don’t believe him don’t mean he is lieing. Why do the brothers get away with this and why did the cops protect them and put them in a hotel for a whole week!
I never realized that someone could tell the police to turn off their body cams because they don't want to be filmed? 🤔 I am sure the cops were assuming that he was a victim at that point, but we know now that it was because he didn't want people to see him lying on camera.
I don't think so, judging from the 911 call, I sense that he didn't even believe it or was still trying to process the nonsense he'd just heard. "Some guys, I don't know, they jumped him or something like that." He sounded more sure telling the cops that the liar was a start than he did telling that operator his star was beat up by MAGA thugs...hilarious is an understatement to all of this.
What I like most about this video is the clear distinction between the people who are run by emotions and the people who run on logic. It’s obvious to me that there are politicians that run on logic that take advantage of people that run on emotions.
Let’s be honest, regardless of the brother admitting to what they did, they willingly participated in a fake hate crime, knowing this was the height of racial tension, BLM & etc etc. This WAS very damaging to those who are victims of real hate crimes honestly I still don’t understand the goal was for Smollet. It was dumb, careless and nasty nasty work tbh.
I disagree...the most aggravating part is all of these so called celebrities and media spokes-people have never come out and and said my bad. Like George Takei who said "what kind of country do we live in?" The kind of county where things like this DO NOT HAPPEN!!!!!!!
They most likely got a deal for telling the cops everything & turning over all the evidence. To this day, neither of them have received a single charge related to this crime. They got off scott free, why wouldn’t they be proud
I'm so glad everyone can see through this person, I'm not going to call him a man because a real man wouldn't do something this despicable. A sick individual.

That's what struck me. This is just not what happens now. Everyone gets attacked. And much of it is random. Anyone can be the victim. When you aren't looking for 100% of what happens to you in your life to be down to your race, you actually would find out that everyone's normal (if they are poor, everyday folks) is full of discrimination and bad treatment. Sh#t is what happens to all humans, because that's normal life. Other people can be just plain nasty to you because they have huge issues, and you are in their way of what they want, they are jealous of you, they think you are stupid, they are bored, they want to feel brave, but often because the bad guys, are just full on bullies!
60 years ago wasn’t long ago at all.. and the same type of shyt still happens today. Hold on, supported not believed. The story sounded off from jump 😂 I remember talking to my brother and saying he faked this, but when I spoke to my wife I had no comments 😂
Everybody believes it because society as a whole is blind by choice. Just like when a narcissistic, controlling woman sheds her croc tears and lies her ass in court to win child custody by claiming domestic violence, that never really happened, to get child support and alimony, and basically, to have their way... or when she lies in bitter resentment just because the man that she thinks she "owns" forever no longer wants to be with her. So she wants to fck him over. Well, that Smollett thing was more of the same shit. And it had the same effect. She/he fakes it and cries abuse, and everybody immediately falls for it and never bother to check the facts.
