Out of her burning desire to attain an education, Diana (Pokwang) disobeys her mother, Dicanay (Ruby Ruiz), by breaking their tribe’s tradition of getting married at an early age. Fortunately, Diana gets the chance to fulfill her dream when kindhearted people offer to send her to school. After finishing college, Diana meets Victor (Allen Dizon) and eventually falls for him. A year later, the two marry and start their own family. However, things change when Victor’s alcohol addiction drives him to destroy Diana’s aspirations for their five children.
