@@freeyourmind8752 Yes I know they are not married but they live in the same household, If that adult is contributing to that household, that person should have an amount of say so within it, those kids need to have a level of respect for him (her) as an adult and vice versa if a woman was moving into a home with kids that aren't hers, it's that "takes a village to raise a child" mentality especially if the intentions by the step mother or father for the kids are good....second you have it backwards the kids should see the couple as a team and adults first THEN the step mom or dad can earn kids respect......... Parents these days seem to lack that and put kids in the driver's seat instead of the parents being in the driver's seat which is why a lot of kids turn into adults with no sense of direction or respect for others......
