Our situation was much worse with abuse and abandonment. He drove our mother absolutely crazy... She still till this day is with him and is a fraction of the woman she used to be. I pray the children overcome this tragedy and learn what not to do and what not to become based on their relationship. Your origin does not define who you will be....

The sadness emanating from her... man, she was making me feel sad. There was clearly something that was deeply buried in her and I hope she gets counseling for herself and the children if she can, or finds something, some hobby, anything that makes her feel good about herself and allows her to vent her frustration so she can begin healing. That's the great sadness. He cheated with a family member for years and most likely other family knew. So all those years in pain and looking in their face not knowing they are the cause of it.
