Wow! I think you really understand what a natural look is and achieve the real purpose of the airbrush. This is the first time I see a perfect makeup who enhances the beauty of the face and skin, not having tons of primer, concealer, foundation, powder, mist, filter, etc., you only use the strict necessary and I loved it. Congratulations, I hope your channel grows as much as it deserves because you are unique!
Thank you so so much for this! I really appreciate the feedback and more importantly the time you took to watch and provide it. Thank you so much 🙏🤗 . It really makes me happy to see that my take on airbrush application and wear is appreciated, I truly believe that less is more and with airbrush you can use less and end up with the most beautiful end result ❤
Appreciate your detailed explanation about the mist and techniques. Ive watched so many tutorials where people are using the gear for the first time but you clearly have experience which I appreciate!!
Thank you kindly, I have invested a lot of time to really learn and go deeper with application and process. I am so happy that I've been able to share what I have learned and discovered with those interested in Airbrush as a makeup applicator. Thank you so much for your appreciation and your kind words. it warms my heart and makes the time spent worth it. Thank you!
Thank you! 🤗 I know you do, you always have girl 🙌 i didnt always have a liking for it I'm not going to lie but now I've learned to play at the strengths I found for the unit and I'm really enjoying having it. 😄 thank the lord cause I got the thing when the first launched it hahahah I'm glad its finally got a spot on my vanity 🙌
Thank you! When down to the two systems I ended up going with the temptu 2.0 and having used it for years, its a work horse and im glad I chose it. It's both compact, sleek yet powerful at the same time. 😁 no regrets even though occasionally I eyeball the kett jet system 😉
The stencils I use is almost all of my videos can be found on Dinair's Website. Airbrushmakeup.com :) Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words. Many blessings to you!
Thats so awesome! Im so glad you like this look. Its definitely more on the natural side skin wise, that's more my style of makeup 😊 I'm so glad you like it, and thank you for taking the time to provide feedback, I really appreciate it so much 🙏
Hi! I have a stupid question. When would you use a mixing medium? I ordered it (on accident. I meant to order the primer) and I don’t know how to use it. I have the temptu air. Thanks so much!
Hello. Definitely not a stupid question 🤗 so mixing medium is a key essential to have, somthing most users don't think about. You can use mixing medium to gear other products like primers or concealers to work better with your airbrush makeup so long as the base is the same. As for airbrush you can mix pigments into mixing medium to to make sprayable shades. Its more commonly used to thin down the makeup in the airbrush or re hydrate the makeup in the bottle. There are so many uses for mixing medium so picking one up in this case is very much so a happy accident! 🙏🙌😊
IHEARTAIRBRUSH wow!! Thank you so much for responding!! :)) that was very helpful! I’m so happy it has a use! One more question: would I use it for every application? How much should I use? I have the temptu perfect canvas airbrush foundation! Thanks again!
Of course, its my pleasure 😊🤗 im always happy to help when I can. You don't have to use it every time just when you need it. For example if the makeup is on the thicker side or if you want it to be a lighter coverage. As for how much to add, I typically add less than half of the amount of drops I put of the actual makeup just so I don't thin it down too much. So if I'm using 12 drops I'd add 4 of the mixing medium to start. Most times it really only takes 1 or 2 drops to get a thin enough consistency, try not to over add as an imbalance will effect the overall look and wear of the makeup 😊
Thank you! 🤗 yes you sure can because they are both a silicone base you can even mix them together too. Like for my brow shade here I mixed 2 perfect Canvas airshadow shades with the sb adjuster 😉
Not sure if you can help but I’m hoping I have the tempting air. I bought and when used with my previously purchased AirPods the spray just spatters , I tried all your cleaning tips for the pods with no improvement . I contacted to temptu and the generously replaced both pods but the problem persists. Have any of you experienced this before?. I’ve been using temptu for over 10 years I’m so disappointed
I can offer my experience and honesty and hopefully help in that way. I know its not somthing that many artists speak on especially the ones involved here on social media but I have found the pods to be quite finicky. I've said it so many times and often have provided tips and tricks to deal with it here on social media which has put me in an awkward place with the brand. Brands ( airbrush especially) only want people to say great things about thier products, which is fine when the products perform but the reality is that not all products are going to completely hit the mark. In my experience with the pods since my first go at them back in idk 2014/2015 ( I can't remember exactly I know I purchased a system and pods shortly after it was released) has always been difficult. The pods are quite inconsistent and in my professional and personal artistry have not been my go too tool to airbrush with precision and flawless execution. I find the pods to be good when in a pinch or for specific areas of touching up but no good for a flawless full application. Some shades are worse than others for the pods, for example the blush pods I've had no luck with even when replaced with new ones per temptu customer service. The bronze and contour shade is worse off. And certain foundation shades along with shadow shades have the same issues. Overall the pod system is not one that I can or will recommend for use on its own but can be put to use when paired with the standard system and airbrush with the standard airbrush doing the bulk of the work. Temptu has great formulas but the pod system is just not refined enough to match the quality that thier other systems and products provide. I hope this insight has helped and I hope that you are able to find the best uses for the air system and pods you currently have. Thank you so much for watching and commenting I really appreciate your time 😊🙏
Girrrrrrrl! I am so into this look! Love your energy in this as always and cannot wait to try! Only have the air though, maybe we may need to purchase the 2.0? lol and definitely they primer/finishing spray you used!
Yesss! I'm so happy to hear that 🙌 Thank you! Yeah I love my 2.0 I've had it for so long and lol the air is nice cause of the convenience of the pods but man that spray in the traditional airbrush is niiice lol I like that two can go hand and hand that's why I feel the need to showcase it in full looks they both have thier strengths 😉 ooo yes I've been using that finishing spray since the beginning it works so great I did a review on it way back in the day lol Its still on my channel. And it still works great! I love to use it to prep and finish rather than using powder I feel like powder can take away from the natural skin finish at times. Let me know what you think when you try it I'd love to know your experience with it 🤗
like when you are wearing it? In all honesty and some will tell you different but I hope you can trust me when I say from my own experience; yes, it is like regular makeup and will swipe away if there is full on contact with the skin. The difference is the application method. There are ways, like with traditional makeup to make it more resistant to rubbing off but for the most part water based and silicone based both behave like traditional makeup when contact is made with the makeup on the skin. Alcohol based is less prone to rubbing off and adheres better to the skin but this type is not recommended for every day use nor for use on the face.
Yay! That makes me so happy!. yes, The stencils I use are from the Brand Dinair. I use the brow stencil that is part of a 3pc brow stencil set and the eyeliner is the cat eye end stencil part of the 2 pc eyeliner stencil set they sell. I hope this helps, Thank you so much for watching! xoxo
So, the gritty and otherwise gross pot of concealer that comes with Dinair kits is awesome as a lid primer. You gotta work the gritty feeling down, of course, but the only use I have found for that product is as a base for eye shadows. I use mostly traditional eyeshadows because I have a palette obsession so I am not sure how it would work as a primer for AB eyeshadow. Great look and inspiration to try some Temptu.
Ah man gritty? I havent used the concealers in forever! They used to be super creamy, I didnt use them for a shadow base tho cause i had super oily lids n the product was very creamy. I used just the primer Potion. N now I use both the potion and the mac paint pot if I'm using sb. Just the potion if I'm using water based. I'm glad you found a use for it tho! Ooo which is your favorite palette? I'm always curious what color story and packaging people are loving! Yeah I'm trying to get more use out of what I have an I've had quite a bit of people requesting more temptu. So since we are in quarantine still why not just deep dive into my stash to see what I learn or what I come up with lol I hope you are doing well 🤗
Love this natural glam look! Question: what is the reason you use the fan to dry rather than just the air from the airbrush? Can you not spray just air with these models of airbrush?
Thank you! Great question, so I find that with sb it takes a little longer n a little more air to get it all set before the next step so I like the fan cause it distributes more air to a larger area then just using the airbrush alone. Also I dont like to have the airbrush running longer than a few seconds when I'm not actively spraying. When you leave the air just running especially after having sprayed makeup you increase the risk of dry tip and makeup drying in the tunneling from the cup to the needle nozzle opening. Doing this repeatedly can cause a back up in your airbrush that would require more work to clean out. You may not notice right away but over time it will become more and more apparent. In past videos as well as when I was teaching airbrush courses I always emphasized to make sure not to leave the air on when your not actively spraying for this exact reason. In the long run it helps a ton. 😉 I hope I explained that ok lol I know I can get all techy with airbrush questions 🙈 its just I really do love the processes of airbrushing. The makeup is a bonus lol 🙌
Were you able to decide if you wanted silicone based or water based makeup? I see it has been a while since you made this comment, my sincere apologies. Have you invested in a system?
Thank you! I've been meaning to pull it out more, I went n pulled all my temptu into one bin so I can use it. There's no better time then the present lol I also placed another order too I wanna run some more tests now that I have a little extra time 🙌 Thank you! There will definitely be more temptu videos coming up as I go through all my stock 😉🤗🤗
Do you mean the hose connectors? Which connector. If you are asking about the hose connector (the connector that is on the bottom of the airbrush that you would attach the hose to) i recommend the male quick connect adapter; used in conjunction with the quick connect. I use quick connects on all of my systems, its just the easiest and quickest way to swap between airbrushes which I do a lot 😁
