I love a slight cool-toned bronzer and contour too! It’s give that shadow-y effect on the facial contour and on my structure, it emphasises that effortless, natural makeup, but still well-sculpted features. Warm-toned contour tends to be muddy on me, even though I’m a bit on the warmer side. Colours is just so interesting 😂
@@annealbaugh919 most smaller companies charge shipping. It’s very expensive if they offer free shipping for any amount. Bigger corporate companies can afford that, but smaller individual companies can’t do it. Actually I read that one of the biggest expenses for a new company is shipping, not the material to make the products.

Hello. Yes I’m seven months late watching you but i just found this brand online and went right to RU-vid to watch a video on full face makeup application of it. I have to say it looks so natural and beautiful on you. Without all the heavy weight and overly saturated colors of other makeup brands. I’m convinced so I’m going to make a purchase of the liquid glow the stick face enhancing foundation like product a lip balm because it is multi purpose use for now and I believe the highlight or mascara but most likely the highlight. I can always use another mascara for now Thanks for your video it helped a lot. ❤

Love this video - I love merit too! The mascara is my number one, it's literally the only mascara I've ever tried that won't leak and smudge because of oily eyelids. Oh and it's also easy to take off! Or, at least I'm able to fully get it off with makeup remover unlike a lot of waterproof mascaras (which also run on me). I just wish they would give more product for the price, it's soooo expensive and doesn't last long because it dries out so fast. I wish it wasn't my number 1 because it's so expensive and starts drying out after the first month.
Tonia letting you know sephora has TF matte primer sample with 35$ purchase. I just checked out. Not sure how long they will last. I am going to try it to see if it’s something I’m interested in. I know yours is almost out.

I love Merit. Surprise brand for me. I have kinda oily skin and I love the serum. It doesn’t make me too oily. It is fabulous to put under matte foundations to give a little life Their lipsticks are great the blushes. The bronzer all brushes nothing I haven’t liked
I have oily skin and I find that the foundation works just fine for my skin. I do use a mattifying primer underneath. I just wish Merit offered more of a shade range in the foundation sticks. I'm very fair and the lightest shade is almost too dark for me

I have always taken great care of my skin; however, a bit of clinique foundation and lip gloss had always been my holly grail for cultural events with the hubby including weddings in the past. At this stage of life,, when dark circles, and skin textures are making unwelcome appearances, I have decided it is the right time for me to play make up. I have done a great amount of research. There is a plethora brands to choose from. The choices are exhaustive. I prefer the luxury brands. You, have helped me picked a few. I appreciate how you can boast about a brand and yet, still give an honest and objective review while picking and choosing your favorites. I appreciate the way you can objectively highlight wether it is worth the money or not. I think clay looks darker then the other shade , I like that one better . I Love Merritt everything I have tried I have loved, I definitely want more shades and to try more. I was planning on getting more of the blush shades then I got side tracked with all the new blush releases . I love the highlight in cava.
the minimalist was my go to until the entire stick flew out of the tube one day 😢 would not repurchase again for this reason but lovely review as usual tania!

I love Merit, so I've veen looking forward to this video! 😊 I've been so interested in getting the serum! Does it apply well with sunscreen? Do you still get the same smooth/primer affect even over a layer of sunscreen? 🌞
I do put the primers over sunscreen, however I do let the SPF settle into my skin first. As for the serum I use it under like a skincare or on top if I need more moisture before applying my makeup.
I have the Merit oil and love it! I’ve tried the blushes & lipsticks. I love the coral one on you I may have to get that one 😆. Very nice review on Merit products and your final look beautiful as always!! 😊❤️
Can you believe that I don't own ANY Merit products 😱. Actually, I don't know if I can get them in the UK, I'll definitely have to check. I love the "barely there" makeup look. @TaniaBWells It's not like anything else in my collection - I love it 😍 I've also bought the D&G Solar Glow Bare Skin Beautifier and it's so, so lovely. Used as a finishing powder, it gives my skin a beautiful glow. It's only available from Harrods - why? That makes zero sense 😕

Great review! I have and love the Merit Serum and a lot of the lipsticks and lip oils. I’m going to have to get some blushes and a pomade. I hope Merit paid you for this and didn’t just send you products. I heard they try to do that to RU-vidrs.
Great video Tania. I tried the foundation stick in Aug last year for the Sephora sale while in Houston. The color bisque was my shade, but other foundations won me over, like Cle De Peau and Chanel Sublimage. I will have to try it again for an everyday look. Do you still use your regular skincare routine and use the Merit serum as a primer?
Honestly the effect that they give is quite similar. I have two colors in both Makeup by Mario and Merit and they both have a more cool toned bronzer and a warmer one
When can we get Merit in Europe? I really want to try the lip formulas :) The primer makes me nervous because it goes on top of sunscreen. It has the potential to interfere with the SPF protection. Do you know if the brand mentions something about this?

It depends on the products. I like the foundation better from Merit but the highlighters from Westman Atelier. Also the lipstick from Merit are better but the blushes from WA last longer.
I have oily skin and I’ve had the foundation stick in and out of my cart about 100 times! I hope someone with oily skin replies as to whether or not it works for them! I love the Merit blush and lipsticks!
I think she meant too dewy/glowy because of the primer/glow serum she used underneath . The foundation stick itself is pretty matte and dryer formula. I think it will be great for oily skin.
@@LisaF_ you’re welcome. I think they made it more matte to be a nice base for all the dewy and emollient products to go on top like the blushes, bronzer, and highlighter.
Be careful about using the oil based serum as a primer. If you put it on top of your sunscreen it could cause your sunscreen to break down. This is supposed to work as a skincare step under moisturizer.
That's what I was worried about as well with using the serum as a primer. Because it is both oily and watery it could easily break down the film created by sunscreen. Instead I've been using it as a fast skincare replacement. On days when I can't or don't want to do a full skincare routine, I put on the serum and it gives an effect similar to my whole routine. Then I put on moisturizing sunscreen (dry skin!) and go onto makeup after my sunscreen has set. It definitely still leaves a glowy effect under my makeup! I actually love to use it that way.
First thing we need to have a better definition of what clean beauty is. And absolutely agree that more people should try to use less and less chemicals on their face. Oh I love Merit Beauty so so much:)
For me, Merit is a brand that only looks pretty for an hour. I am disappointed in everything, especially the lipstick does not show any color. I gave it all to a friend who doesn't like to see herself made up
Is your skin more oily? I have normal to dry and most of their products stay about 5-6 hours on me. Foundation lasts even longer. It is a very soft, sheer kind of makeup so I can see how it can fade on some people.
I think I prefere « scene » bronzer (dunno the spelling) but it’s a bit of a dilemma ! I think I have the same as when I saw the 2 pmg powder bronzer on you. I think you look like a mermaid like just came out of water ☺️ ( can’t wait for the jones road video 🤩🤩)
