I'd love to see this same concept, but with brushes! For example, working with the same products on both side, but using high end brushes on one side and cheaper brushes on the other.

You should do half of your face using expensive brushes/sponges and the other with affordable brushes/sponges!! I'd love to see how much of a difference it makes if any!
Yes that is a good idea. Probably not as good as the expensive side, but sometimes affordable items are surprisingly good and the expensive ones are surprisingly not as good. It would be interesting.
I agree. I could believe it could look the same immediately after application but throughout the day, does it wear the same? It seems I'll wear different shadows in my crease and lid and then after a couple of hours, it all blends to one color. Is that the quality of my eye shadow, primer or poor application?

Emilie M well most amongst us the typical middle class feel the same pressure but I try not to judge on others for spending their money that they worked hard for because in the end of the day it is their choice. spending 100 bucks for a pair of shoes or for a meal, who cares...we want different things in life and anything can be valued more depending on where we want to put our priority on.
Rose I was not at all judging her or anyone who chooses the manner in which they spend their own money... it is their money after all. I support the lifestyle she lives and the way you live and the way I live and the way anyone else lives because that is what's best for her or you or me or them. I honestly was only saying that while I love make up, I love food more and chose to spend the money that I do have on yummy food lmao. Sorry to upset anyone, was not my intention. I love Tati and all her videos! Plus, as she has said many times, she's been in less than ideal money situations before; I absolutely love that she has the life she does now!
Tati could you do the a series of make up looks for different occasions by using exactly same products. Like 1 look for work, 1 for night out/ date night and 1 classic party look ir something like that.
Cause many of us doesn't have massive makeup collections like RU-vid gurus has, so would be nice to get ideas how to take full advantage of the makeup we have

You should do a video where you try and guess the original vs. dupes in a blind test! No one is doing that right now and also it would get rid of any hidden biases we all might have :) (not that you're bias at all, just a good video idea!)
Yes there are. One example is Hot Mess Mama MD channel. She does video tutorials with high end palettes and their dupes and does that game at the beginning where her viewers have to guess which side is the high end and which is the dupe side. Then she does swatch comparisons, and a tutorial using one side high end and the other with the dupe. I think it's fun. Tati's video is different than Ronda's because Tati does a whole face look.

Would love to see a comparison of how each side wears throughout the day because regardless of if they look the same initially, I want to know if they both have the same lasting power

Tati is one of the few beauty RU-vidrs that doesn't get on my nerves. She's so real with her opinion and doesn't sugarcoat it, and I loveeeeeee that because she doesn't lie about the quality of the products. I mean that's one of the reason we really watch the videos :)

I love that you're always fair on inexpensive products. Lots of members of the makeup community have a prejudice against drugstore products, so it's nice to see someone be more genuine.

I am amazed how similar the two sides of the face look!! I really can’t tell the difference! I am a firm believer that it’s preferable to have less products but high end because it’s also about the ingredients that you put directly into your face but still wow! The look is spotless and absolutely stunning on either side! Amazing really

I FINALLY found the L'Oréal Lash Paradise today and just about cried....haha. I have looked EVERYWHERE and my Target had a brand new display on an end cap. I was so excited I bought several of them!!♡♡♡

I wish most of you guys would think like that, I mean, I follow both JS and Tati since the beginning, and they're totally different, but there's one thing that they both love and embrace and that's makeup, so I don't see the need of throwing shade at Tati for doing a collab with another makeup lover.
Kimberly Painter he's said and done things that haven't been great. There's a list somewhere I'm sure. But it's so bad that if you like him as a beauty person, it's like you get black listed. I felt so bad for her on Saturday, and I knew it was coming.
I 100% agree. While I strongly disapprove of JS, Tati has repeatedly displayed how mature and classy she is, so I am happy to support her. I hope she doesn't take all the criticism from that video to heart but instead takes a closer look at the (very valid) reasons why people are so outraged by JS.

Tati i have an idea. Would you be able to make a video of makeup available in Europe for your European fans for example some brands like Dm , p2, alverde, avon, oriflame essence.
