I commute on the train for three hours every day and lately there is a women watching Tati videos sitting a few rows ahead of me and I want to sit next to her and watch with!
Bring a headphone splitter and ask if you can watch too! You may have someone to chat about makeup with on the way home! The worst that could happen is she says no, and you find another seat.
@@lilasianboi9820 probably in some ways, but everyone can be educated in different ways. no need to be hateful toward someone just because theyre excited for her to learn something new.
american youtuber: full face of drugstore brands! me: we dont have 90% of those in the EU, and the remaining 10% is definitely not drugstore over here, thanks
I love essence because I can actually get it here in Germany and it's really affordable. I've been using their all about matt fixing powder & their eyebrow pencil for years! But the best thing they sell by far are their nail polishes! It's incredible how good they are for that price. They have so many colors and so many cool special effects polishes Edit: I forgot about their lipsticks, I own a lot of their lipsticks and wear them basically every day and they are also amazing for the price they're sold at
I am shocked by their nail polishes. They are 2.99 in Canada and they are the best nail polish I have ever used in my life. They are high shine and never chip.
i love how honest you were in this, I wish beauty gurus wouldn't feel so guilty for not loving Everything from the drugstore. Makeup shouldn't be "good for the price", it's either good or bad lol. I love drugstore makeup and I definitely love finding gems but sometimes spending just a bit more to get a high end item that you would really love is worth it !
olivia1910 I mean I agree to a degree, but like saving and getting a more high end item might not be an option so in that case I would like to know what is actually bad and what is “ok but high end stuff is better”. I do think it’s helpful to know what’s “good for the price”
Kate F some people literally live hand to mouth, but might still be expected to wear makeup when they go to work or participate in society. Having money left over at the end of the month is not applicable for everyone.
@Kate F not always the case Imagine having kids and working in a office Meeting with clients etc... There are so many reasons that you might need to use makeup daily
Because people rake them over the coals for not being thrilled with everything from the drugstore. I have a mix of drugstore and more 'prestige' brands, like many people. I look for what looks good, feels comfortable and lasts, not just what is inexpensive. I don't buy much makeup every month either, who buys a full face every month haha.
Essence eyeliners (liquid, pen, e everlast etc) especially the waterproof ones are the only drugstore eyeliners which have replaced and competed my mum's high end liquid eyeliners (lancome, Estee Lauder). It s been a few years that I buy them in bulk for her so she'll never run out! In three words, they are great!
Hey tati the reason why everythin is called "matt" and not "matte" is because essence is a german brand and matt in german means matte in english ☺️....Just if you're still wondering Love you 😘😘
Who else watches tati to calm down? I often listen to her voice when I try to sleep or when I'm upset. I choose videos I already watched for that purpose.
when I sometimes wake up too early randomly i usually put on her videos to put me back to sleep, i love and watch her content and am entertained but sometimes her voice is just perfectly calming and nice and rly helps me fall back asleep
Essence do sell foundations. They include: • Soft touch mousse foundation • Insta perfect liquid makeup • Stay all day 16hr foundation • Fresh & fit foundation My favorite (and the one with the most positive reviews) is the *Insta perfect liquid foundation* which is a dupe for the Dior face & body backstage foundation - but without the long lasting power of Dior's version. However it looks WAY more natural than Dior's one and doesn't cling to dry patches.
I really wanted to try the mousse one, but i couldn't find a light enough shade! That's really sad, since i don't really like full coverage foundations..
@@polza1049 I didn't love the soft touch mousse. I liked the initial application and it gave me a doll like finish, but it didn't hold up well during the day. The separation was pretty bad on me.
@@user-ml3wk5ql1v girl you've been using the wrong primers if you think that's true. using a dimethicone-based primer will make a night and day difference on the visibility of your pores, texture and fine lines
My favorite products from essence are: they’re lipsticks! All of their formulas, their brow powder duo, their get big lashes mascara!, their electric vibes liners and long lasting eye pencil 🤤 andddd their setting sprayss
LIBRIAN Sana I love it! Butttt the Keep it perfect one is my favorite! It melts the makeup in together and it helps it to stay in place and look flawless for a LONG time.
@@Sofi97videos yeah but particularly this one hydra spray is for dry skin... And from essence this is the only one for the dry skin.. Thats why i wanted to know about this one
Huh?? Okay sorry man, I just don't get it. What does" Nobody:" mean in this instance? And I legitimately do want to know, I'm not trying to be a jerk here. I see people commenting this similar type thing all the time and I am really curious as to the reason for it.
When my mom passed away I didnt have any waterproof mascara to wear to her service. I picked up the Essence brand and was floored by how great my lashes looked. I wasn't expecting anything crazy, but ended up using it for the first few months after she passed in case of spontaneous crying.
The best thing about essence is actually their nail product, the "gel" (no UV light needed) base+coat and drying drops are amazing! Easley lasting for more than week. The nail polish are also cute, some last more some less, the glitter ones are very durable.
Watching in South Africa, it's so nice to be able to see a brand that we can also buy here. Thanks for the reviews and mini-tutorial!! Also, we have a massive range of Essence foundations here in about 25 colours. Weird that you guys in America don't.
Kristen Barnes even in the two tiny towns I stay in (plett and Grahamstown) there’s a whole bunch of shades. No matter where I am in the country, essence always delivers. And every clicks has an essence sale lol
Tati I love it when your makeup is like this. It makes you even more beautiful, when your makeup is more laid back, your beauty shines! My favorite is pure nude highlighter.
"And then I chant to myself: I think I can, I think I can" Felt that. 😂😭 Also, the melted chrome eyeshadows and the lipsticks from the BeYou collection are *bomb*
I absolutely adore their Melted Chrome Eyeshadows, I wish they would come out with more colors than just the 6 but they’re BEAUTIFUL! I actually have backups of every shade!
Been working in a drugstore lately. Every time somebody asks me for makeup advice I lead them straight to Essence. There's many expensive brands we own but none can honestly compare to quality of Essence in some areas. Been a fan of their palletes, tattoo camouflage concealers and starlight holo metallic nail polishes too. I can afford more expensive but exactly why would I when Essence is out there? They're truly great, been using them for years and will continue.
I love you Tati!!!! You helped me find myself and figure out who I am as an adult!!! Who would of guessed my love for makeup would pull me out of my depression! Thank you for being you!!!
Yes! Love it! I also have the lash princess mascara, and mine is SUPER liquidy. I'm hoping if I dry it out a bit, I'll like it as much as everyone else does. Everyone is talking about the molten eyeshadows so I'm definitely going to try those!
@@SourSunshine1115 I tried out the exact mascara and it did the exact same thing haha! If you leave it little bit open for a day or so it dries it down perfectly and its honestly a really good mascara for the price! Oooo Ill have to try the eyeshadows out! Xx
I love the Essence Luminous Bronzer SOO much 💕 I’m fair to light and it is not super pigmented, which I prefer. It is buttery and blendable and is so easy to build
I love essence so much it’s the first brand I used when I got into makeup and they improved so much over the years! The camouflage + is my favorite concealer at the moment and I also love their brow products!
I love the matte concealer, a little goes a longgg way for me at least. So much coverage. But there is a strong perfume smell so yeah. My fave product from them is probably their highlight palettes, concealer and mascara
I felt like that for a long time as well, but it doesn't keep the hairs in place! I discovered that when I tried the E.L.F. brow mascara and I'm now totally sold on that one over the Essence one!
I love their eyebrow gel, the Matt bronzer in the dark shade ( I find that it’s not too dark just a sun kissed shade) and both shades for the satin blush, plus I also love the shine gloss!!! I highly recommend them
I love the melted chrome eyeshadows and the matt blushes, my all time favorite blush is in the shade 40 blossom me up. I'm really pale and this shade is perfect for my skin tone
I find that with Essence it’s always a complete hit or a complete miss. My favourite Essence product is hands down the Brighten Up Banana Powder. It performs so much better on my skin than any more expensive mineral powder, I swear by it.
I LOVE essence mascara. I’ve had several surgeries on my right eye so my lashes are really thin. I have a hard time finding mascara but I heard you mention the essence ones so I tried them. They are amazing and work so well for me😊😊
😂😂😂same sis same! I ask myself everyday...when did i become an adult?!!? Im not sure but i think it was the day i got excited about a sale for fabulouso 😑
Ive been using Essence for years now and I absolutely adore their eye pencils and lip liners. For the value they’re amazing! Love the foil shadows and I adore the lipglosses too
