I really do believe k beauty (especially skincare wise) has caused western brands to step up their game years ago. And a lot of trends now in the west seemed to be behind k and other Asian beauty trends. Like the no make up look or my skin but better have always been like an Asian concept for awhile now. I just hope now that it’s more popular in the west, k beauty brands expand their complexion ranges Because I can never use those amazing products sadly. I’ve even seen other Asians struggle to find even their shade.
I feel like your makeup philosophy reflects k beauty philosophy very well. You pay attention to details and are very careful with choosing the right colors . K beauty is life changing! Seriously! I switched a few years ago and I’ll never go back and I love how most makeup products also have skin care ingredients. I like the more muted, neutral, softer looks I can find in k-beauty. The skin care has helped me maintain my beauty. I am 38 but I still look as if I’m in my late 20’s.
stand with everything u said. especially for me Korean makeup is easier to control because it’s enough pigment in every product. and also K-makeup always focuses on a healthy skin look, which makes it even more interesting.

Now I know why my eyeliner looks so disconnected from my whole eye look :) I'm 24 but only started wearing makeup until 1 or 2 years ago so all of your videos have helped me so much. I tried branching out of my comfort lip colors and got the same liptint as Haley but in another shade, it was waaaay to bright for me. But I combined it with some base I had like Haley said and it became the prettiest natural blush shade

I love this video! I feel like makeup popular in the USA is catered towards brunette features, dark hair, dark eyelashes, perfectly tanned skin etc. As a natural pale blonde with extremely light skin I have always struggled to find foundation light enough for my skin tone & mascara light enough for my eyes. My natural eyelashes are blonde & the dark brown/black is too dark for me. I've never seen any products like this before that you showed in your video. I just found a k-beauty store in my city & I can't wait to find makeup that will work for my skin tone!
Yes, I love the care and attention Korean makeup brands put into their products. What do you think about Be Ready brand makeup “for heroes”? It’s designed for men but I’ve seen a lot of good reviews from girls too, and what caught my attention is that their cushions have darker shades. 😎
