I think Fenty products were inovative with their shape of packaging for 2017 when it was released, like back then the most sold brands like Tarte, Urban Decay, Huda beauty, Becca etc. were all pretty basic, with soft touch packaging being the most “different” thing happening. Like even nowadays I can tell that hexagon means it is Fenty product - for example Fenty skin is pastel purple and I can’t tell if it’s Fenty or not because it’s so basic and every skicare brand is pastel. Basically, it’s that blob on Rare beauty blush cap but 2017. Every original brand wants “I’m different” marketing because what’s a point of selling something that looks the same as other products on the market (dupes actualy capitalize on that). But I agree that it’s just basic shiny hexagon packaging that is easy to get dirty (with brown powder inside). Lethal updated their formulas. Their shimmers were nothing revolutionary back then but they are so good now. Thanks for the video ❤
Lethal is an indie brand, and their shimmers have hugely improved in their newest palettes🤩 I got the Water palette in their Last Airbender collection, and it’s on par with Lunar Beauty, Odens Eye, Fantasy Cosmetica etc shimmer formulas! They really were lackluster before though.
I was an Estee Lauder Double wear gal for ages, i still like it but I have other stuff to use first. I bought the Lisa Eldridge foundation, it's good but £44 is a lot. Currently using a Catrice foundation (I stock up when I visit Germany), and a Bourjois foundation since they added a new shade. What did surprise me was No. 7. I bought a concealer stick on offer recently, and they have added new shades. Macadamia is the perfect light olive colour, finally a concealer that isn't yellow, it's about a tenner. Double wear is also leaky though, because it doesn't have a pump. I have a BYOP I bought from Clionadh just after the original. Archeo came out. They're still good, but none of them were duochrome or even advertised as such. I do also love Kiko as well, but I need to stop spending money on makeup.
I know you said you got your Nabla concealer on sale but wouldn’t it be your most expensive bc it like 20 dollar or something. And I only thought about it bc you mentioned it in yesterday’s video lol 😂
I have 2 different shades in ABH foundation and havent had any leaking. Also, sugarcookie is the lightest shade in the Huda powder its the white one. 😊
My two Lethal custom palettes are my most used ones 🤭. Mines are almost 2 years old and I hit pan in every shade and have 1 empty in a duochrome. Have you tried spraying the shimmers or using glitter glue?
I do have a custom lethal palette from a year ago and the formula is definitely better compared to your older one, and even better releases now from what I've seen. I was okay with the price because of how sustainable and genuine the brand seems to be, especially since the light setting shade didn't have talc and wouldn't irritate my eyes. It's one of my most used palettes so I hate to know you had that bad experience.
That would be an interesting concept for the pastel roses I would be so down for that it would also be interesting for clionadh cosmetics which I looked and I think they have magnetic palettes that you can get shades for but they are more expensive than the pastel roses unfortunately
