good things to splurge on would be foundation, setting powder, maybe bronzer. Things you can still get good quality for at the drugstore are things like blush, lip gloss, mascara
Anything E.L.F. can replace the hig end. That being said, I only splurge on foundations/setting powders now that I'm in my mid 30s. If you are a teen/early to mid 20s, unless you have skin issues- only worry about a higher end foundation. IMO anyways.
I stopped buying high end makeup when I had to stop working due to health issues. I honestly am just as happy with my makeup looks now. It was videos like this one that helped me find my holy grail affordable products!
Takeaway from this is that these “dupes” are actually just as nice looking as the higher end products. The question I would like to ask is if these products (dupes) last as long or longer than the higher end products. Because it doesn’t matter if something cost less if it doesn’t last well… also, price per ounce would be a good way to compare value, too.

Loved this! Something I'd like to see in the future is a size/volume comparison between drugstore vs. high end because, while cheaper, the drugstore products can often appear smaller.
Never tried the Elf but I feel indifferent about milk. I love the Fenty skin tint and Catrice concealer. So you are paying extra for mirror since Kylie has mirror and the other shadow palette doesn't. I love both palettes.

Tipp for not mixing the sides: just mark one of your schoulder with like a lipstick or eyeliner. Then you always know what side is the drugstore/highend.😊 or just write drugstore and highend on your shoulder with an eyeliner.❤️
I feel like on me that is a more fuller coverage girlie I prefer the expensive side but. On you the cheaper side was so glowy and it looked the best on you!

I would love a video going over the best talc free products or brands. I have an allergy to talc and have read it’s actually awful for us to use anyways and it’s in so many beauty products
There is no evidence the talc in makeup is harmful. I know alot of people are worried after the documentary that came out but when you actually look into the evidence surrounding the talc in makeup, there is no evidence it causes cancer or asbestos.
I love your channel and makeup. I have lived in Florida all my life (60+ years) and even through Andrew, 30 years ago. The strongest hurricanes we’ve had were even before Andrew and I remember many times, years ago, they went through the complete alphabet naming them, that’s an indication of how many, so there is no evidence their numbers have increased. You have an amazing group of followers and you are doing them an injustice if you simply repeat what you hear. Please do some research and see past vs present hurricanes. Thank you 😊

I think when Cody purchased Kylie’s brand, she left Seed Laboratory & that’s when she did the rebrand & reformulated. I have used the ColourPop/Soul Body Cream bronzer for ages but I think it’s on sale because they are getting rid of it 😢. I also love their Supershock blushes. They’re about $6 and I love them. They have a dark brick color that I am obsessed with.
