99¢ store makeup is risky, people can breakout & have allergic reactions! And she ended up having a reaction to the eyeliner

99 cent store makeup. A lot of it is super knockoff in that it's super easy to irritate your skin because it's all harsh chemicals.

The naked palette is great! But there are definitely great alternatives or "knock offs". I would look at revlon and maybelline products (I believe one of those brands has a great knock off palette for the naked palette!) And personally, I love Nyx products (it's not super expensive but has high end quality). Hope this helps a little bit! And good luck :)

Bbal4eva Thanks, I have now got the revlon colorstay foundation, which is a pain because it shows all my dry spots 10 times worse, my skin doesn't feel that dry but it looks it with that on, so I am looking for something to replace that, they do have a perfect shade for me though so I am happy with that. And I bought a nyx gel eyeliner but it stays wet the whole time so I also can't use that. Bought 80 pounds worth of make up the other day and I can pretty much use none of it because of the bad quality foundation, concealer and all the other stuff which I was very upset about since it is a lot of money and all I really like is the seventeen super lash mascara, I got it for free with my order, so I basically spend 80 pound on a mascara because the rest I won't really use.

I would recommend Lorac eyeshadow palettes- I personally have the Lorac Pro Matte Palette and it's wondrous, but there are palettes with shimmers as well if you want. They are also a bit cheaper than the Naked palettes. If I were you, I would also invest in some eye shadow primers- they help the shadows stay in place and can even help the colour pop more. I've only ever tried one by Elf, and even though I can't compare it to others, I do like it. Otherwise, most of my makeup (other than lipsticks) is by Bare Minerals (powder foundation, concealer, powder, eyeliner, & mascara). Despite how much I love the pencil eyeliner, I'm trying to find a new one that's cheaper because I wear it all the time & I think I like one by Maybelline. Sorry if this is a lot of info, I just figured maybe this would help xD I hope you find what's right for you!

If i don't like some video, it doesn't mean i'm a hater or don't like her. She has made this type of challenge and "trying weird beauty products" videos four or five in the past few months, and i for example am quite bored with it. Of course she has the right to film what ever she wants, but sometimes i feel she would be losing interest or passion to do this thing, and she doesn't have any ideas what to film, so she just keeps doing same kind of stuff over and over again. It just doesn't seem genuine anymore, more like forced. I miss the time when she did fashion hauls, question and answer videos, funny tags with Arnold, decoration videos... She had many kind of things out there, and she seemed excited about it. These days it just feels the same stuff again and again and again. If making RU-vid videos if your job, it is is quite important to listen to people you do your work for. Not all criticism is hate. Gotta learn to separate two different things and not take everything personally.
