This is a real "Kids Makeup Challenge." The Claire's versions are fun to watch, but that Claire's makeup is just cheapie versions of adult makeup in colorful packaging. It should just be called a Claire's Challenge.
She did use foundation. She said it didn't come in the package, neither did the mascara, so she used her's. You can also tell because she has a bit of acne on her chin and then when it jumps to her opening the flower pallette, the pimple is covered with makeup. But I like that she kept it to just the two items.

Can i clear something up, Nikki didn't say it was an original idea. Also she said her subscribers requested it but I do understand what everyone means and I wish they would give you more credit because you are the only one so far to actually use kids makeup. I love how you actually used kids makeup. Everyone I seen bought it at Clair's which I think is cheating since they sell makeup for teens as well as kids there. They should of called it Clair's makeup challenge. I think if we we're not allowed to wear it as kids or would let our kids wear it then it's cheating. I personal never seen kids wear foundation highlight contour ect. your awesome and deserve credit for being original since it is so hard having new ideas. I'm subscribing. 😘

clairs mskeup is for all ages. my mom uses it. Although mascara and foundation was just for the tweens turning to teens. real kids makeup is sold on ebay, or the corner of a grocery store

They're using teenager makeup which, arguably, is still a kid. I'd consider it a kid, especially since the makeup isn't even of drugstore quality, but ya know.

Well actually Claire's makeup is for children and young teens but either way she did a good job there no need to be tearing anyone down over a fun challenge
she only did it after people spammed her that it was not her idea. And rather then play dumb and suffer embarressment she gave credits. an honest person would have done so in the video itself. Nikki is shady. No wonder since she is part of Jeffree Star's "clique"

This is a real Challenge, that is the kind of make up that I used to play when I was a little kid so I arruined my mom's makeup cause that really paint. Thank you so much for make me remember my childhood. You really slay the challenge.
You know it's a real kids' makeup challenge when she said "it wasn't that bad, the price" EEEEVERY other youtuber who has done this has been shocked by how expensive it is, because they're not buying actual kids' makeup, they're just buying cheaper-than-drugstore quality makeup. They're still cute, just not what you'd expect.

Claire's was originally for kids makeup and accessories, its just because kids are starting to wear actual makeup from younger now that they've expanded their stuff to be better quality
She made a video but Nikki claims she didn't know that this video existed which is why she didn't credit her in the video. Personally when you're going to be doing a challenge especially as a big youtuber I don't know why she would just take the 10 seconds to search to see if she is the first one or not.
