I think she just meant cheap according to the Sephora website which is traditionally more expensive than drugstore makeup. No worries if you need to shop at the drugstore we can still rock it on a budget 💁🏼♀️
Lynsi Robertson sometimes powders can leave a white cast when pictures with flash are taken. Makes it look very weird and like you fucked up your makeup. Look up celebrity makeup fails or flashback Mary to see some extreme examples

For mine it didn’t show any ads at first and then RU-vid suddenly crashed. When I opened it back up and out this video on there were ads. Pretty sure it’s a problem on YTs end. Thx for helping to support BLM organizations!!

I think that it is a foundation that they are discontinuing. Usually when a brand discontinues a foundation, they'll just sell whatever they have left in stock and take down the shades that they no longer have, in addition to discounting their remaining stock.
Honestly, Mia is a sweetheart and she keeps everything clean and she tries her hardest to post for us and I love her so much cause even when she’s sick she’ll post for us, she’s gorgeous and spectacular. I did see that all of the YTERS I normally watch do "All Black Owned Only" videos with full ad cents donation to support the BLM movement, so I'm confused why we didn't see that here. Especially when the "Cheapest..." insinuating something that could just be me being a tad oversensitive during this time period.
You can still skip ads. They will still generate revenue. There are two kinds of ads. Ones you can skip and ones you cannot. The ones you cannot skip generate more money. The ones you can skip (whether you do or don’t) generate less.

as a Canadian (like mia) I dont think most of this was cheap, the 6 dollar palette? yes everything yes? NOOOO but Im not a makeup wearer and I have no concept of what the items should cost for a good deal also I feel like the word Inexpensive is completely relative and its different for every person, this to me would leave me broke.
This is still pretty expensive for England in my opinion, if you stick to mostly drugstore brands (rimmel, maybelline etc) you can find all of these things cheaper and in good quality. Primark makeup is the besttttt but I can't bring myself to shop there anymore.
You should do this with the Ulta brand! They have been so great to their employees during the coronavirus and have been very forward in the BLM movement. They also have a real variety in their prices would be so fun to watch!
Ulta is a great company, I only worked for them for a year but the CEO would stop in a lot in the summer cause she had a vacation house in our town that she stays at sometimes. Mary Dillon is a sweetheart

Just want to put this out there, when the pandemic closings started in the us Sephora fired everyone on a group conference call with absolutely nothing. Ulta supported their employees. The only way we can say something to companies is with our money. Just something I wanted to share- eta will watch the full video in support of BLM, but in case you wanted to know for future purchases
I don’t buy from Sephora anymore because of this reason. Also wanna add that Ulta employees tend to be more humble and kind hearted so I usually prefer Ulta but I feel bad for the Sephora workers that got let go..
apollojakenwill Canada doesn't have ulta so it reduces the number of products that are available to ship here. That's good to know though, I will def not order from sephora anytime soon
Just to clarify: Sephora US only laid off some staff (seasonals, temp workers etc). Sephora Canada has not laid off ANY employees and is still paying them all. Don't believe everything you read online.

Its 2023 and I just discovered Mia’s channel about 2 weeks ago when RU-vid recommended her reno video of her grandparents home, bc I watch DIY vids. Since that time I have binge watched all her videos from both her channels and love all of them. But today is the first time I saw her support of BLM. And as soon as I saw what she was doing I cried and couldn’t stop. For me, a black American woman, who (like so many) participated in the protests and works to educate both myself and others about the plight of African American people, this support STILL means so much. Thank you for supporting.
idk why that anastasia product is labeled as a foundation bc it’s definitely one of those highlight/contour sticks that’s why it’s more on the yellow side!!

That makes me disappointed in RU-vid. I know FB has rules about political ads during campaigns because they found that actually affected results during the 2016 election.
Reposting this comment so everyone who is having an issue can see: So I closed out of YT and refreshed 5 times and I still wasn't seeing any ads. I gave up and just decided to watch the video and try later thinking it was a YT issue like everyone else was saying. A few minutes into the video I got ads even though I didn't see any "yellow sections" in the video's load bar so I'm super happy! Maybe it's a glitch since theres so many that it's not showing but maybe everyone who is having an issue should still try to watch it! It might work for you.
on the website i didn't see the yellow marks but the yellow marks are shown on the youtube app. The website does give a 5 second warning that there is going to have an ad tho!
Watching this video after knowing some of the funds from blm went to buying a mansion for reasons, it makes me cringe thinking that the money raised with this video paid for it. This is why I only donate to small local charities because I know its going to where it should be and not just lining someone's pocket.

Ummm is it just me, but i got no ads and now i feel bad for not seeing the ads. I will re watch the video and see if there are ads tho Edit: i just went back on the video after leaving it for a while and there is ads. I think it is because i was on right as it was uploaded but i'm not sure. If you still don't have ads my suggestion is to leave the video and then go back on it.
