I have watched boxing since 1970 and we will learn who Dubois is exceptional, good, average, bad after he has won a few times after 12 rounds. Anyone can punch, not everybody can do many times things exceptionally after fighting 12 rounds in a fight. Tua was a very good boxer, but he wasn’t a heavyweight championship. Now...Dubois?

Now these guys are lying about the fighters' heights. They said Daniel is 6'4.5" and AJ Carter is 6'4"; but in reality, Daniel looks much taller than AJ Carter. That height difference can not be half an inch! This is deceptive!

I agree mate. This was a great fight, short lived I know lol but nevertheless was still good. The respect from the crowd was amazing in this too, I’m glad AJ Carter was okay in the end.

If the ref calls the fight after the 2nd knockdown he gets absolutely slated. But that 3rd knockdown and ultimately the knockout just was not needed at all.

I liked the fact that they carefully didn't film the guy while he was out and getting medical. Cynically I guess maybe it's bad for the sports image, but if it's out of a sense of decency and respect, then that truly is a positive attitude of modern boxing. I always felt slightly soiled, watching older fights, where the footage seemed to gratify the gloating bloodlust of those more interested in seeing people battered and hurt rather than in seeing ringcraft n technique. I'm glad that's not what happened here.

Wow! Weak opponent but Daniel was explosive compared to his disappointing fight against Kevin Johnson. However, Johnson is a master at taking a punch and taking good opponents to a points decision. Dubois used to do sit ups for 3 hours at a time. He looks like the real deal! All the best Dan!

EXcel I’m not so sure about that but he had a good amateur career and he’s reasonably experienced. I would sway towards DDD although it’s early on in his pro career. I think he’d rise to the occasion.

@@malamute4793 I wasn't discrediting him, he could go on to be an all time great, its too early yet as he's not fought anyone who can test his chin. Only problem is Warren prefers to say how good his fighters are rather than proving in. Maybe Warren should get him the looser of the Whyte v Povetkin rematch. Winning that fight in good style would earn him a lot of respect.

@@15markav15 well, I wouldn't call him the second best, but he might beat AJ, who is very, very vulnerable. Let's see how AJ takes another heavy shot. His punch resistence is a major question now. And Dubois also dropped him in sparring. Why wouldn't Dubois have a chance against AJ, if Ruiz dismantled him with ease? Also, Whyte goes for the big names, but we all saw he Whyte is not on that level. Dubois stops Whyte in devastating fashion. I said that long before the Povetkin fight.
