Im going thru the comments and Im so amazed on how nobody is giving heather her props for going the distance after getting cut and almost stopped in the first round and than picking it up in the mid rounds, got head butted and continued to give it her all, not to mention she was 37 years old, Nevertheless amanda is a beast and a great champion, I just wish more "boxing fans" would start giving credit when credit is due and stop disrespecting fighters that put blood sweat and tears into this sport.

Dude I’ve watch 3 fights of Amanda’s , she is a different caliber . Not one girl looked like they are even close to her . She has a fight coming up on Paul and woodly , can’t wait for her .
It’s not fare for her. Everyone was hyped on Pacquiao (Great Champion) for winning titles in 8 divisions. Well, she won titles in 7 divisions and I never heard of her until I watched her in Jake Paul card.
I was rooting for Hardy and she did her best, she didn't take it lying down. However it was obvious from the first round that she was up against a superior fighter. Congratulations Serrano for winning.

Amanda serrano is a beast! Never seen a female boxer with hands as sharp and technically sound as hers and for those who dont know she even has an mma record of 2 wins 1 draw, both wins via submission
Wow, just wow. What an incredible fight. Unbelievably action packed, ferocious and so intense and blood thirty it was hard to watch at times. I can scarcely believe Hardy came through the level of punishment put on her at times, but she did not merely survive, but really pushed Serrano incredibly hard. Heather is clearly a physically very very strong, rugged and super fit lady. I have seen hundreds of boxing bouts over the years, mostly men, albeit the women are starting to take over for me, but her toughness stood out like a beacon. As for Amanda, she is unbelievable and such a talented fantastic puncher and never in a drab fight. Women's boxing continues to amaze me and the fierce competitiveness, skill, intensity and action that is off the scale, just keeps making me think that boxing (regardless of gender) can't possibly get any better, yet the women in plausibly keep raising the bar. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would ever think this but most of the fights of the night, week, month and year, are for me betwern two women, just like this one 💪
Amanda is so badass! She had her bleeding on the first round. If this were 3 minutes rounds like the men, Hardy would have been knocked out on Round 1.

PLUS Heather does boxing the hard way!...she's tough but terrible punching technique! Pulling and swinging away from the target (Equals no power) shame really.
Heather had openings but needed training on her balance and form for more efficiency for her strokes. I think Heather under achieved,and she should not have went to MMA.. She needed better training,she had talent on level of Amanda only Amanda's was developed.. Training to become complete fighter as opposed to putting on a show. Wish she was 22 right now entering the sport. When she was being overwhelmed she needed to learn how to clinch ,foul strokes and bully. She could have been same level as greats in the sport today.. She had rare heart to make it through being not as prepared as she could have been. Sergio was right speaking of techniques..

I agree. I'm 54 years old. I've seen a lot of fights and seen a lot of them in person. Her corner was lack luster at best. She probably could've worked her corner herself.

Amanda is my favorite fighter male or female. She comes into every fight like a lion protecting her babies and don't let up for even a second. She's one bad woman
This fight put men's boxing to shame. Men's boxing to me is more akin to chess, whereas women's is more action packed, heart stopping in it's brutality, and intense. The men do far more posturing and feinting, whereas the ladies brawl and fight like warriors and wild beasts. When I think of boxing these days, I immediately think of a fight between two women. As much as I still love men's boxing, they are secondary to women now for me. The Joshua vs Franklin fight is of interest to me, but Harper vs Braekhus intrigues me more and Taylor vs Cameroon has me absolutely buzzing!
Hardy was lucky they only fight 2 minute rounds; she was outclassed from the first bell to the last. You can give her credit for having a lot of “heart,” but at the end of the day: “skills pay the bills!” I’m in love with Serrano ❤
Serrano would cut the ring and dwindle down her speed via body work pretty quickly. Skill wise they're about the same level. Just comes down to who is in better shape.
