FULL FLIGHT Jet2 LS632 Boeing 737-800 Lanzarote - East Midlands in RECORD TIME! 

Jet2, I can't rate them highly enough. We flew with them toTenerife in 2020 and came back on the day the island was being locked down. Didn't know how or when we were going to get away from the rammed Tenerife South Airport. The Jet2 reps were brilliant keeping everyone informed at every stage during the day until we were eventually able to board a flight.

Lee, My travel tip is while on holiday eat and drink whatever you like my friend.

It's always lanzarote for me, no buses, taxi €12 to Puerto del carmen, I go 5 x 2 weeks every year. We eat local, drink local and yes ill be in spoons. Looking forward to your next trip. Take care Lee & the family 👍

(Great camera quality and views by the way) ... Then i couldn't belive it... At 22.35. As u came to land...My white van was passing by. Clear as day. I remember seeing that plane as i came towards that bridge. It was so low.. That was me. And the mac master was on it no way.... Well bk to wet weather England now lol.

Welcome Home, I liked it in America, went there in 1989 not sure if it's still nice out in Las Vegas but it was a Darts competition with the old Dart Team Eric Bristow & clan, and an 8 hour flight, loved it on a Jumbo Jet what a flight that was, never been back though.........

He reviews these things like Full English breakfasts and €1 pints because that’s what the vast majority of his viewers want to see and gains more views/money as a result. Nothing wrong with that, nothing wrong with wanting to broaden your mind and try local food and drinks either. I personally would rather try something you don’t get back home but each to their own I suppose

Just caught up on all the vids Lee! Looks a nice place just for a week away. You’ve done as much as you could with it being only a week and you not being that well. Appreciate the time and effort you put in the vids. Glad that you are back on the mend too. Popped in Basford for a haircut 2 days ago and I’ve got to say it will be my new place to go now. It always makes me laugh when people say you should eat Tapas and Paella in the Canaries because it’s not even the local food. Tapas is Andalusian and Paella is from Valencia. It’s like going to London and looking to try some authentic Haggis.

Yes I have been to both I lived in Lanzarote for 2yrs and love the place. There are lots of site I don't think you went to like Timanfaya National Park where there is a restaurant on top of an active volcaino and Jameos Del Agua are located inside the volcanic tunnel created by the eruption of La Corona Volcano, one of the longest in the world, at 6 kilometres in length.with a gound ground lake.

Interesting to see an UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle/drone in the background) as you were rolling ready for take-off, wonder where that was going to be sent via (welcome to) remote control airways... Mr Bond, I hope you have a pleasant... fright?

Been to Gran Canaria too prefer Tenerife but I want to go to Puerto Del Carmen as we were Playa Blanca and only went there twice at night and pass through on the coach when we did the submarine. Looked so much more lively.

I enjoyed the views from the flight - very good. Look, on this business about "go local" I call nonsense. It so happens I love experimenting with new restaurant choices and do go for local cuisine sometimes when im abroad, but the point is its eveyones own choice what they eat. Its your money so spend it on what you like and the devil take any critics. I recently went to Gran Canaria and had fantastic food in Puerto Rico - both local and familiar cuisines. You might consider giving that island a try. Keep on - onwards Lee.

When I was staying at the Hotel, I found that those towels were so large and fluffy, I could hardly shut the lid on my suitcase !!!!! 😂

I've taken the bus to the area you were staying. It's like 10mins and it's 1.50 euro

How do you travel with such a small suitcase?

Hi Lee - The travel vlogs are my favourite and I have been to all the Canary Islands and Tenerife is still and always will be my favourite...Sadly now because of my age and state of health I will never get to go back but your Tenerife Vids are a source of comfort to me bringing back memories of my trips there...Don't get me wrong Lanzarote is a nice place as is Fuertaventura but they are all just Tenerife copies....I'll stop waffling now...c'mon Onwards.

I enjoyed Lanzarotte and I enjoyed Fuertaventura but haven't been to Tenerife yet. I do fancy it on a hired motorbike as the roads are amazing.

Haha poor Phil and Janice. Nowt wrong with trying a bit of local food I've been eating paella and tapas in the Canaries for nearly 30 years. That said I like a curry, go to Palms fish n chips and even had a McDonald's with a pint in Tenerife as well. Bloke with the Star Wars tshirt looked angry. Yes it was really quick, you started taking off at 14:29 minutes on the video and arrived at the stand at about 23:44 on the video so thats under 10 minutes :) haha :) Also you travelled on exactly the same plane you flew out on, same registration.

Watched all your Lanzarote vlogs and was wondering where you were staying and it turns out you stayed at the Gloria Izaro Hotel we are staying here on the 1st December we usually stay at the THB flora round the corner but fancied staying in the Gloria Izaro for a change hope you liked it Lee 👍🏻

I HATE the last check!!! Always terrifies me I've forgotten something, every time 😆 Looks like you've caught the sun a bit mate!!! 😆 I agree about the taxi, but if you Google map your hotel, and then use Moovit - the local bus app that shows routes and stops on a map along with all the lines and times - then if your hotel is near a stop, the local bus that goes to the airport (the 161) is only €1.70 per person, it's only about 3 or 4 minutes slower than a taxi too as they cut out stops before PDC, I think there is 2 stops before the start of the strip, so that's what my friends and family usually use, depending on the timing of the bus, usually every 20 minutes to half an hour in the week 😁 Phil and Janice also know exactly what your channel is about, see the video title, and STILL watch it, and THEN complain?! Odd. Lovely view of Arrecife, the now capital of the island, on take off there, a great day out too! Hopefully see you on your next trip 😊

Now you got me interested in checking out travel to Lanzarote from New York. I can take Iberia to Madrid and connect. Then again it's a lot cheaper to get to the Caribbean like everyone else from here... or Las Vegas.
