this book is really unhappy with me having opinions or words. This book is angry with me for stating obvious problems. This book is upset with me for pointing out the fact at the main character who has a blood oath can be healed by vampire.!!!!!!!

You should check out the demon kiss ones. They are awesome too. All her books are awesome but the hunter academy is my favorite so far. This one may take that first place though :) we shall see

Boredom at work I stumbled upon book two today. After ten minutes I purposedly sought out book one. Being at work for ten hours was THE MOST enjoyable ten hours I have had in a long time! I cannot wait to go back to book two! #NewFan

Absolutely fantastic, really enjoyed all the twists, payback for the loss of parents, the twist from witch to vampire, how u put the two together, and of course the way she spoke, when she dreamed of the vampire how she was falling for him, how its all so natural, of how they all react, while being around humans,, I'm really looking forward to the follow up,,, I read all the Anne rice novels of vampires, now I'm to lazy to read the book, having them read to me like this, it's becoming a habit,,,, but well done iv listened to a couple now and this is a easy 1st place book the follow up will hard to beat this one, Goodluck I'll be looking for it thank you 😊

Usually I'm very much a harsh critic on what I do and don't like and what I finish. if I'm being honest the last two books series I haven't been the fan of, could not finish but I truly can't see A Fault In This Book it's so good. I am so excited to listen to the rest of this book series fingers crossed that I can finish it.💕
This is where I started with J,H,,, found this by accident, as I was looking for a vampire novel, and I haven't looked back,, I got alot of shocks, a 50yr old Grandad 1st time listening to these books, i fair jumped from the 80's to 2023 lol😂😂😂, my problem is I can't hear them quick enough or get onto the next book quick enough and it gets me frustrated,not in a mental way id say annoying way,😊there's so many, and the way some of them get intertwined, iv found brilliant some talent, a while ago I joked that, she could not off wrote all these, but u only have to hear 1 book, and u can hear the talent, I started here, il just say I'm jealous of anyone just starting here, ur in for a whirlwind of mystery, fantasy, excitement, and staying up late In bed, I had stopped reading eyes to sore got headaches etc, so the audio is a God send 😊I'm still listening to anything I can get my hands on, by J,H,,,maybe its time to go back to the optical room and try and get sorted, the audios just don't come quick enough for me, then I find myself writing all this,but all of what I just said is genuine, Enjoy what's ahead with these books, Fantastic 💚🙏😊👍Thank you J,H,,😊😊😊

Did you always want to write this in 1st person? I seem to always want to write in 3rd. I have a vampire short story I wrote in 3rd, but I believe it would be good in 1st. Gonna rewrite it and see.
So the story is definitely interesting. However I'm only a little into ch.15 and the MFC is ridiculously weak and pathetic. I really hope there's some significant character development going forward.
I believe there will be, her power has been suppressed by a blood promise. However I think even with her searching to find the killers and trying to undo the blood promise she will probally start training so she can use her dagger and fight with a better chance. However keep in mind those who attacked her are super naturals and with her power muted they will always be stronger than her so the vampire guy as her rescue savior dude will probally happen alot unless a plot twist happens and she becomes a vampire or a half vampire half witch.
She promised her mother she wouldn't use her magic unless it was absolutely necessary. It created a blood promise sadly her mother was killed so she has a hard difficulty trying to remove it. So far the chance to maybe remove it is to find someone blood related to her mother to maybe release the seal on her power. But until the other books come out we won't know what happens lol

Having seen Dracula by Francis Ford Coppola, has anyone considered a book or series on Mina Harker? Dracula is dead but did make her his bride. She has his blood in her. Mina as a vampire could b interesting. Saw her in A League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, but I feel there is more to her now. Would love to see that. Either way awesome audio read. Will dive into book 2 soon enough. Well done.
so if she cant use magic cuz a bloodoath? how is she using it the entire time! oath says she suppose to live as human too? lol also who trust a demon like seriously if she is dealing with supernatural out of anything she believes a demon? lol ...im still listening but first 1hr and 12 mins im just annoyed at how stupid she is with zero survival instincts and shes supposed to be a adult??
I didn’t care for the female lead. Her backstory was good but she was definitely poorly written. The character is not only a coward but also a hypocrite, who parades herself as a bada$$. So Why wouldn’t she have taken any self defense classes in hand to hand combat and weaponry. I do like the vampire, he was written well in this story. I don’t think I want to continue the series.
