Fouse is only 6.6 and he plays like a 7 footer. He tore them long guys UP in the paint. Wow. BYU has improved so much on their defense. Kerr Kriisa was lighting us up. That brother has a killer shot. He's from Estonia. Ritchie was on fire and all over the place tonight. He showed up huge! Ritchie has a great game. We protected the ball well too. Great overall game. WVU is far better than their record.
1-Fous is a total BEAST! 2-Ritchie of the bench was killer 3-old man Spencer is money 4-just how good is this conference!? WVU comes in only 8-13? Gotta wonder how many B12 teams will make the dance
This is why all commentators say the same thing about BYU. "You don't want to play this team. No one wants to play this team. You don't want to play this team in the Tournament." BYU is a pro-style, NBA-scheme team. They're a Pro team playing in college ranks. Their team play maturity is Pro level, NBA level. No other college team is pro-level maturity like them. Sure, they lose. Sure, they have off nights. So does every Pro team. So does every NBA team. They have off-shooting nights, where balls just don't fall. That's basketball. But, when they're on, they're unbeatable. And that's what every college team knows. That's why they don't want to play them. They are impossible to guard and game plan for when they're on, when their shots are dropping. Their team basketball is rock solid. Offense, defense, assists, low turnovers, passing, unselfish, patient, methodical, relentless, frustrating, deceptive, deep bench. They just keep coming. Only chance opposing teams have against them is if they're having an off night, if their shots aren't falling. Otherwise, good luck. Because their defense will suffocate you. They're a Pro-level team basketball maturity that's rarely seen in the college ranks. They drive opposing coaches crazy. Because all opposing coaches say to themselves, "How in the world do we prepare for this team? Where do we start?" Good luck.
I haven't watched an NBA game in years. What even is a pro-style NBA offense? I have a feeling BYU assists on way too high percentage of their baskets to be a pro-style offense. I feel like the NBA is about clearing out for superstars. That is definitely not BYU.
@@pinkgorila941he means the priority placed on constant offball movement and spacing the floor. BYU has some of the best sets with off ball movement in the country, and there’s a clear emphasis on having at least 4 capable and willing shooters on the floor at all times
