@@brokenjumpers5219 Thank you bro, I'm in U.K. I expect the posh English schools may get caps, I don't know for sire. Our school got 'Rugby Colours'. Different tie and blazer badge in 6th form 1st XV rep rugby. Truro school in Cornwall kicked some arse locally. Jack Nowell ended up finishing his schooling at Truro College. He made a decent attacking wing. I get slated to f### by some of the English on YT because I prefer to keep up with NZ rugby, rather than rugby here. Better rugby gets more viewers, and NZ rugby is my preferred rugby playing nation. Always has been, since the days of Sid Going, Grant Batty...............
Tim Rogers hahaha don’t worry about it bro 🤙🏾 I would love to see a game where the NZ Schools Team could be the England Schools team, I think that could be very cool to see as I don’t watch a lot of high school rugby in England. And I think it would attract a lot of viewers too!!
@@brokenjumpers5219 It would be cool as bro, bloody great if it was a go. Imagine the hype from the sporting media and the good it would bring to world rugby. Grass roots 1st XV International high school rugby . Dream on Timmy boy!!!
Tim Rogers I remember in my last year at high school (1993) & we played a curtain raiser game at Carisbrook, Dunedin (The old House of Pain) against the NZ Area Schools just before NZ Secondary Schools vs England Secondary Schools. NZ SS were ENORMOUS....I remember watching the NZ No. 8 walking around the field for most of the game except when the ball was passed to him he’d receive it & either score or make a huge run which would lead to a try....that player was Jonah Lomu. I think they beat England by 50 odd points. A lot of years later I remember looking back at the programme that day & I think there was about 8 or 9 All Blacks in that team which included Christian Cullen & Anton Oliver who captained them!
