I actually got my GED back in January but just wanted to drop by and thank you again! I watched your videos on Math , Science, and Social Studies. I only studied for about 2 weeks and passed all my tests on the 1st try! I took all the test at once and passed. I got a 153 on Math, 158 on Science, 166 on Social Studies, and 160 on RLA! @@mominhossain4268 Hey there, it depends on the student, but 3 of the tests are mostly reading comprehension: reading language arts, social studies, science. Math is usually the most difficult for students so depends how you feel with that one!

Hi, I have been trying to pass the GED math test for 8 years, and I have passed the other subjects with a score of 150. I dropped out of highschool in 9th grade and back then algerbra was an elective. In high school I've only taken fundamental math and at 65 fully retired I still can't let it go. As of today I am a ged graduate 🎉 , I want to thank you so much for what you do . I tried back in 2017 and could not get pass the math portion so I gave up . I scored 142 on my own this year but I came across your channel and it helped TREMENDOUSLY, highly recommended watching his videos . I watched them for about a week straight and just watched it this morning before testing I tested 150 on the pretest and took the official the same day and scored a 151 ! It’s a different language for sure. It might be more helpful to watch lessons on specific topics instead of altogether like this one which can be overwhelming!

I passed my math GED by watching your videos! Got to say I watched them in 4 hours, and grasped it just by knowing how to use the calculator! And you showing how to use it! This was my 3rd try on it, (1.5 years to take the 3rd try)never knew how to use the calculator with the problem till your videos! Thank you !!!!! And I've been out of school 40+ years!

Hey. I came here to say I passed my GED math test which was my last one , thanks to watching all of your videos for two weeks without taking notes. I couldn’t have done it without you. THANK YOU!! 🫡❤️ To the people who’re studying to get theirs , you got this , don’t give up !! I suggest you study slopes (that was majority of what was on the test) , inequalities , word problems , quadratic equations, solving for ‘x’ , factoring , very few fraction problems , finding volume / surface area , circumference etc , finding the mean , functions , graph questions , number lines , distributive property , graphing coordinates , simplifying expressions, percentages and polynomials . (I’m based in nyc btw) there were 45 questions in total . The first 5 were no calculator .

I need a better job position and this final test is my last locked door I passed all the others and did alot of studying with math already but the essential ed was terrible for math at higher levels.Everyone swears by this channel so adding this channel to my study techniques is what im doing next. I have a general idea of all the parts but I need to sharpen my knowledge up until I understand it.I already know how to use the calculator and my prep school allowed me to borrow one.

I never understood school, always cheated my way through, but this exam, with your help, I Passed, and I have a suggestion about the essay, I got a perfect score, a method I think you should use for your first essay
This is going to be a long but I'll try to keep it brief. It would be nice to have a video that came from my idea. So first, introduction paragraph, state one sentence for author A's position, then B's position, also firs there has to be a topic sentence, then state your claim on which you think Is a better supported position, at least four sentences for the introduction, for the body, three paragraphs, giving one reason why author A states their argument, same for author b's position, then state why you think your claim is what you choose, also for a stronger argument, look for data, facts, statistics, recently dated, and for weaker argument, basically the opposite, no facts, but opinions, outdated, no statistics, or recent studies, and then for the conclusion, is like the introduction but restating it in your own words, hope this will help would you be willing to make a video off this I'll send you a copy of a list that has this, I'll try to
I think it would really help students since this method helped me get a perfect score and they've been asking for an essay, also, it doesn't matter what you write, it matters how you write it and follows all the rules for the essay

Great Video, I just want to say that the question at 20:10 about the surface area required to wrap the AA batteries is wrong. the surface area required to wrap the batteries is the area of a cylinder minus the surface of the 2 circles on each end because it says sleeve we are not looking at the total cylinder surface as you can imagine both ends of a battery the positive and negative cannot be covered. so we only going to use the first part of the equation 2.PI.r.h therefore the correct answer is A
Hey there, it's a great distinction for everyone reading this! If you don't need the top and bottom, like Omar said, just use SA = 2πrh (and leave out the + 2πr^2 which adds two circles, one for the top, one for the bottom). I made this problem up and didn't make it clear that I was simplifying it so we would wrap the whole cylinder (including top/bottom) since a heating element would then shrink this to reveal holes at the top/bottom at a later step. Sorry if that causes confusion for this one! But Omar is spot on if you ever don't need the top/bottom, just FYI!

@GetSumMath when I placed the value on the table. At the top it says start at -13, this makes all the y values huge numbers. Is there anyway I can get it to change, I noticed yours says.. start at 2
After you type in your y = and hit Enter, you can think select the start value and type 0. Then it will start with x is 0 instead of x is -13 like you have
