Also the female vanir statue has a full circle ⭕️ which could be a symbol of the sun. And the male figure has a upside down crescent. Which could represent the moon. So them being vanir twins, have moon and sun symbols, also vanaheim has skoll and hati specifically in that realm. It’s quite the coincidence

One piece of evidence that confirms the wolf we see IS Fenrir, is the vision Groa has in the Lost Pages. She says that she sees a large wolf growing to eat the son rampaging across Midgard, and thats more akin to Fenrir than say Garm.

As far as the mimir thing. It’s clear they travel without him even in the first trailer. They walk in and he’s reading, then he makes a comment about Kratos’ dower expression. I don’t think he’s as needed near the beginning of the game since they aren’t on a journey yet

@@KaptainKuba Just jumping on the pronunciation wagon here lol I'm not entirely certain but any other time I've heard Odin's Raven's names spoken they've always been pronounced hoo-gan and moo-nan unless you listen to Alfadhirhaiti by heilung. Also just saying if you are enjoying researching the Norse myths and haven't heard bands like Heilung and Wardruna you should definitely look them up!!

Here’s a crazy idea; Plot twist Kratos is actually Surtr, the fire giant, the harbinger of Ragnarok. Kratos in GOW 2 was a “giant” , his blades and the fire of Prometheus makes him fiery and he brought the end of Olympus, he is Ragnarok

Mimir Says in the First game that mhuspleheim Is unhabited as of right now and a fire giant Will come the day that Ragnarok starts, but when he said that kratos was already in the realm so It wouldn't make so much sense

A few things I think you missed with the map, the eagle in helhiem with it's wings spread open. The river of gold flowing through jotenheim, and the dragon or whatever it is to the left on Asgard.

I don't think Fenrir would be an enemy in the story. this confrontation is probably similar to how Kratos and Atreus met Jormugandr which in short possesses no threat. because Fenrir would recognize Atreus in first glance as much as Jormugandr as well. as for Mimir's absence, it could be implied that Freya must've took him back to Odin and trapped him in the tree once again and possibly reattached his head back to his body. now for the revival on that once again may not come from Freya, but to a different witch/god who also knows old magic.

I have a few points to make for the clues we got. Firstly, I think that there is some importance in the norse writings on the top left of the map. Also, it's easy to make the connection that the bear symbol (which as they said symbolizes Kratos), look exactly like the red mission bear symbol that we see on the HUD video a while back. Maybe we will get alternate storylines.

CAPTAIN- I Think Surtr is going to have Similar Goals as Kratos did in his younger times, he's the one who will raid and destroy Asgard, like Kratos did to Olympus! And that symbol above his sword, the one that was covered by fire, in Muspelheimr, I've never seen that rune! But it looks like an Omega Symbol

You always see two wolves in GOW. Since Atreus(Loki) resembles a wolf in GOW, it might be Atreus and Fenrir? It’s just a guess but I feel like since Loki is the father of both fenrir and jormangander, it would make sense if fenrir helps kratos and Atreus or kratos and Atreus help fernir to go to Asgard .

The Darkdale armor also comes with Darkdale pommels for the blades / axe AND a Darkdale outfit for Atreus. This implies that in GOW Ragnarok, every different armor design comes with 6 pieces to collect instead of 3 (Waist Piece, Wrist Piece, Chest Piece, Blade Pommel, Axe Pommel, Atreus' Outfit)

That 'castle' in Asgard is Himinbjörg... even though it's suppose to be on Midgard. But Tyr's Temple is fulfilling that role of the Bifrost bridge connection to Asgard from earth, so...

6:59 We see the 4 stags and a squirrel on this part of the map. The 4 stags of the world tree told by Atreus when we first enter the mountain. The squirrel, of course, being Ratatoskr.

About the time travel especulation: norse mythos sugests a continuous cicle. Ragnarok is the end but also the begining. The game itself aknowledges that, when mimir talks about a figth between thor and the world serpent, that has happened...or will happen. Also loki is also father to the world serpent. The series has distorced greeks mythos to better fit is story and is no surprise if it does again...

Please read this Kaptain, I found something interesting In Norse mythology, Thor dies due to the poison of the world serpent,Jörmungandr. In God Of War 2018, after the world serpent threw Kratos's axe out of his mouth, a small detail is mentioned on the screen, which is Eitr Imbued, which is Jörmungandr's poison, which is imbued with kratos's axe.

MY PREDICTION // my Theory is Faye is from the future and has seen the events of Ragnarok but with the help of powerful magic and the dwarfs she went back in time and set in motion the events that we see now, i think atreus is the saviour of the giants and holds the key to defeating Asgard who we know are ultimately the oppressors, the entire journey even marrying Kratos was all planned - the ashes they sprinkled werent just ashes, its magic that will either revive the realm of the giants or bring them back to life, this is important because we know Loki's children ultimately kill Odin and Thor thats why Atreus is so important, only he could revive the giants and unite the realms against Odin and Thor and we also know loki killing baldur starts Ragnarok - santa monica will still tell this story however Kratos is the spanner in the works no one saw coming so we cant expect ragnarok to play out the same way with Kratos involved, remember that ragnarok has already taken place, but make no mistake the story is about Kratos and Ragnarok itself is a War - in the end thy al have to see Kratos, Atreus is here because of destiny, Kratos is here because he is judgement itself, he is War

A few observations about Asgard: -I’d wager that the brown structure on the left is Valhalla. However, on the right, we see the green field thing with tents. This may be Folkvangr, where the other half of slain warriors go to be with Freya. Probably will play a part in the story given both Thor and Freya are enemies with armies of the dead -Asgard seems to be on fire. Maybe Orin’s madness has caused Asgard to fall into decay. -What is that reddish object in the sky to the left of Asgard? -EDIT: and I could be overthinking here, but the rainbow bridge originates between Alfheim and Vanaheim. Could tie into the reference to Brok and Sindri’s abilities to travel between realms. Also, Tyr was able to hide the Jotunhein tower in the realm between realms, so we know it’s possible for things to be hidden there

Hear my theory: Kratos will be seen at some point, in this game or another, wandering in the desert. He’ll stumble across two other old, worn men and they’ll invite him to wander with them. They will be the three wise men. I know that’s an original idea David Jaffe had, but I think it could end like that.

Good video & theories. I think fenrir's introduction will be similar to the world serpent... except atreus will be able to communicate this time. Fenrir could've been apart of the final battle between thor/world serpent. Or the Shockwaves from the battle brought him back in time also. There's a huge dragon in Midgard (upper left)... and it looks like 2 separate villages. Probably the game's 2nd "hub world". Jotenheim has a that gold stream in the middle.... associated with Faye's ashes that were spread. Could've brought back "life" to the realm. Freya at some point comes to her senses... just a matter of at what point in the game

I'm sure the vanir twins are Freya and Freyr because if you look closer, Freyr has a sword in his back ( the summarbrander) and Freya has a quiver with arrows, but i couldn't see if the figure has the wings
