very cool. I wonder if the elbows and knee's on the painted one can be disassembled just like the artist proof. I was able to pop the pegs that held them in out and did a total disassemble
dunno if anyone gives a damn but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all of the latest movies on InstaFlixxer. Have been streaming with my girlfriend for the last couple of months :)
Recently landed on your channel, and I love it. After painting miniature Space Marines in my youth( not to a high level), i finally found a Space Marine figure that I could paint, without ruining my 48 yr old eyes!
This was so helpful thank you! It got me through the scary part of breaking down the figure. Any tips on priming the softer plastic parts like the belt? They seem to stay sticky and never really set. 🥴
Thanks I could not find a video till I come across yours I did not no they just did space marine ones I’ve got the exclusive black and white one which I was planning on painting but I don’t think I will now
Starting my custom marine. Making a chaos marine. yeah, I know chaos primaris aren't too common, but, I really wanted to just totally fuck up the armour with green stuff. lots of new sculptural detail.
Any idea if the emblem on the one shoulder pad can be pulled off? Edit: kept watching the video to find that you addressed my question. Hooray for being impatient!
I went and bought one got it for a decent price to 👌😁 I’m gonna give it a shot once I get all the supplies and make it into a blood angel hopefully. Ty fir putting this video out.
@@ATOMiiCChicken my figure came in about a week agonist no I haven’t q-q where is a good place to get paints? Like is there a different paint option than citadel paints? My gw store has temporarily closed out of the blue I’m still trying to put money aside to buy the stuff I need to paint tbh I decided on the exorcists chapter
@@Mr.Rozstar I get them off amazon I like the castle art ones you can get they're cheap but probably not the best if you're looking for professional finish but I think they're alright just for me , citadel ones are alright but expensive
@@Mr.Rozstar I use the army painter grey primer spray but not sure if its the best but its quite cheap and good another brand I just thought of for paints is vajello paints they do a pack on amazon for £23 and it has a lot of good colours
Found 2 intercessors going to leave one stock and paint the other one. Your video helps with the break down part. I was a bit nervous pulling it apart even with hot water or hairdryer 😆
Oh this is a good stuff, i finally can repaint my Space Marine figures! I wonder if this technique can apply to the Necrons one though? I have some of the Necron Warriors that i want to repaint, but i dunno how to disassemble them. I hope you're making this kind of video but with other figures!
Thanks for the great teardown info. Not sure how far I'll break mine down for painting (concerned about reassembly problems), but it's good to know the process either way.
So cool. I'm very overwhelmed by trying to paint this thing. Like what kind of paint. Army paint sets are good i guess. Primer, varnishes, brushes... Amazon has tons, I just don't know where to being. Any help would be appreciated.
I have a top 5 painting tips video buddy, that should help you. I just use normal GE and Vajello paints. You’ll need an airbrush for the main colours. But if you subscribe and check out all my other videos I explain how I went about creating these awesome models
Sadly I didn’t make a video on the painting of that model. They paint recipe for the red is Word Bearers Red base coat with increasing amounts of Sunny Skin Tone (Vajello) added into the highlights
What I love about the McFarlane Warhammer figures is their large size. Im older and years of manual labor jobs have taken their toll on my hands. I can’t paint super small details anymore. But these figures and their affordability ($20 dollars) let me still enjoy the hobby.
Just found your channel, love those figures you've painted. I was just wondering how long you would recommend leaving the figure in the hot water before disassembling? Thanks a lot!
Ready when you are… Dm me on Instagram or send an email froglanestudio@hotmail.com, I have an admin day tomorrow so will be going through the commission requests then
I got a space wolves wolf guard it's Paint is dreadful wat a let down waited for so long for preorder and it looks incomplete, cos of pre orders thats why I think they look the way they look is rushed out figures so it was to meet the mass deliverys. I will not do a pre order again if they all look like this in future releases. Joy toy look great and have more selection to buy and I've seen good reviews so Ill go with them in the future of collecting big space wolves figures.
