Me and a few other people are stuck on the homebrew browser, unable to get it to initialize the network even with functioning wii u internet. Do you have any ideas for a fix?

So i came across a problem with the hombre browser, it wouldn't mount the sd card, i double checked that the tab was up and that the dns setting is auto detect but i said failed to mount sd card attempting again and repeats forever

I'm having an issue where homebrew in the virtual wii would give me a black screen when i tried to load into it. I also had another issue before where the vWii compat installer wouldn't let me press the home button after "installing" homebrew and i had to restart my console to get out. i wonder if that had anything to do with the latter issue. any suggestions would be nice thanks
I don't know why my vWii doesn't wanna connect to the internet, but in Wii U mode it works just fine. I had the DNS set to auto obtain and I even deleted the settings and readded them to reset it. Still doesn't work though. Is there a way I could fix that?
When i install the USB Loader GX and Wii Mod Lite files there is only an error message: Error -1022 Content did not match hash in TMD. Try with AHBPROT mode or an IOS with the correct permission. And the installed Nintendo't freezes with black screen after the animated Game Cube Logo ... only way turn off my Wii U that crash is to pull the plug.
If I want to move everything to a larger SD card can I just copy the entire SD card over to a larger one or is the SD card console specific after you mod everything kinda like how the 3DS is???
question: when i open usb loader gx (on the wii menu, not in the homebrew channel) the screen just goes black and never loads. how can I fix it? also the wii crashes when when going into save data. (this is on the wiiu btw)
Same for me. My games are on a USB drive, and if I install the ULGX forwarder to the USB drive, I can go into the Wii and click USB Loader GX straight from there, but it won’t appear on the Wii U menu. If I install ULGX to the NAND instead, the USB Loader GX icon is on the Wii U menu, but if I click it the screen just goes black.
I’ve watched this guys content for a year or two and he is the best RU-vidr I tried to follow other guys tutorials for not just my vWii but also my Wii u and his tutorials are easy to understand and just the best, thank you!
I'm having a problem where if I open USBLoaderGX from either forwarder it doesn't remember my SD card mode settings and always tries to open the USB only. But it doesn't have this issue if I open ULGX from the Homebrew channel. Another strange problem is if I set Game Window Mode to "Rotating Disc" the Wii U will hard crash if I try to exit a game launched from ULGX.

Not sure why but my USB Loader GX displays all weird on the channels portion, the default view you like where it shows the games as if they're Wii channels. I don't get that mock Wii menu look, it's just tiles of the games that are spazzing out & not displaying properly. The other viewing options (the list, the cover flow, etc.) all display correctly. I know for sure I have the latest ULGX installed, I double checked. What should I do?

Hey! Quick question, i can just use the UWUVCI AIO to inject game, then use WUP Installer GX2 on the Wii U menu and install the game through the install folder. Does that mean i can drop installing the USB LOADER GX (This is only Wii and Wii U games, have not tried GC). Or do i need USB LOADER GX for GC games aswell?
I got everything installed but its not reading the thumb-drive for some reason. Any options to troubleshoot? I have it connected to the bottom port, its a normal thumb drive. USed WiiBackup Manager to install the game to drive.
Can you use the same external hard drive for Wii games as you use for your Wii U games? Seems like you'll run out of space pretty quickly on the SD card.

Last time I set up virtual console for gamecube but only the wii u gamepad work. Also I can't get iso files to wbfs files. How can I get 4 players with ps4 xbox or ps5 controllers to work..? Thank so much for helping
You really cooked with this vid haha ,but I already had mine setup haha ,but I have a strange problem where GUI dosen't load properly and I have to select my storage device each time to see my games come up which is annoying so I kinda stopped using USB Loader GX on Wii U .
USB Loader GX doesn't let me download cover art etc... Some kind of network error. My Wii U Console is clearly able to connect to the Internet when in vWii mode because other apps don't seem to have an issue. Is there any way to play WiiWare games like Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth on a modded Wii U in vWii mode? I just get a black screen.

I can't find sd mode in usb loader, I've made sure to install the most up to date one from your links. Is there something I missed that makes that happen? And appreciate the video, modding gets complicated lol

how does getting this work if i'm using the internet browser to open homebrew via 5.5.x exploit and mocha cfw do i need to start over or can still use this guide to get the vwii to work?

@funkyscott47 I seem to have the latest. It might have something to do with my previous attempt of installation loader GX that didn't work. Might have a file clash. When I get home I will check it out and do some digging

This is great! I've got a question. I used the internet launcher version to hack the vWii, and since the Internet Browser no longer works, my Mii channel is stuck in the homebrew channel, unfixable at the moment. Do you know how to fix this?
Nice timing, but i came across a problem I followed the guide step by step but when i open the homebrew channel on the wii menu it doesn't show any apps to install I was so hyped i dont know what i did wrong :/
