Just FYI your playlist for Vokrii is out of order. 2, 1, 3 IIRC. Love this playlist, it's a great intro to the mod, thanks for the straightforward and clear info. Totally gonna try vokrii on my next game.
I strongly prefer Vokrii over Ordinator. The latter has a ton of very situational perks suited for specific playstyles, but the former feels a lot more dynamic and versatile. I am impressed with how much Vokrii improved combat skills. They made each type of one handed and two handed weapon valuable and have their own strengths in what they can do, so it no longer seems like an inconsequential apples to oranges, made archery less dependent on luck and more on skill, better methods of defense AND offense for blocking, gives heavy armor skill perks that better reflect the idea that you're heavy, even offering offensive capability via staggering, and smithing allows you to benefit from full armor perks with builds that otherwise wouldn't. With all of this, one warrior build can be very different from another, like night and day, even if they invested in their perks in the same skills. Warriors can excel in a multitude of ways with Vokrii. It's just a matter of HOW you want your specific warrior to excel. There really aren't many styles of play that are left in the cold without much support.
After your first review of Vokrii I started to dabble in it here and there, but I missed certain perks from Ordinator. Now I do not use Ordinator at all and fully converted to Vokrii. It just feels more fun to me.
@@HiAgainTheNameIsStillAyle Hey there, Yes you are right Vokrinator is pretty good, but Vokrus was more to my liking. Adamant is also good. Now it really depends on the Architype I am looking to play. Great to see so many of us still play the s#%t out of Skyrim.
It also depends on how "lazy" or "thorough" you want to mod those perks. For example, Vokrii DOES NOT REQUIRE EXTRA MODS other than the base game. Not even SKSE or the Unofficial Patches. It also has one of the "simplest" overhaul patches for other mods, as in it usually requires just 1 compatibility patch. Adamant has multiple "engine utilities" and other of SimonMagus' mods just to install, for example. However, because it's so popular, you can expect to find A LOT of compatibility patches for various mods that sometimes doesn't relate to it, same as Ordinator. Also, I would also like to mention 2 hidden gem perk overhaul mods that is compatible or at least has 1 patch for Vokrii, and those are MASTER OF ONE and ELDER SCROLLS LEVELING ATTRIBUTES.
I like Vokrii. I came from playing Ordinator but I find that Vokrii is simpler but more efficient. Ordinator has a lot of what seem like redundant perks.
i love the main perks of each skill. Only needing 1 point and it increases as you play. So instead of every 20 levels you get a damage boost in 1h for example, you feel as if you are slowly progressing.
AVE BELISAURUS, hey nice vid man, was an ordinator guy and switched to vokrii, feel like its much better because ordinator had cool stuff but was pretty busted
I wish some modder would create a multiple arrow shot for enemies that are grouped together. Basically you can shoot more than one arrow at a time. Thus hitting more than one enemy. There is a skill in Guild Wars that archers or rangers can use to hit multiple targets each time.
There is a ADXP MCO moveset mod that does that called Bow Rapid Combo. I suggest using/installing the V1 version since it doesn't require 5 mods to get it working.
Something I just can't stand about Vokrii 2H and 1H skills is just how many perks are centered around damage reduction. As if my heavy armor clad warrior needs more defense.
Great stuff! How did you get that lightning bolt effect on your bow? If you explained in the vid and I missed it, my bad. Also, would that work on a bound bow?
I honestly am wondering how you make these videos so quickly, I've played 2 characters recently on Master/Legendary, which took me about a month each to level 50.... but then again, I spent at most 3 hours a day playing. Any suggestions on how to either power level through skills or just overall?
Well, this one actually was not done quickly at all. For the builds I have a fromula that I think works for testing a char, but I wouldn't recommend it for a normal playthrough. I start by leveling up to level 10 with commands, unless I know some housrules can alter the usual early game. Get some level appropriate gear in the QA test cell, go clear some dungeons. Add a few more levels, go clear dungeons again. For simple builds like the barbarian, I usually just go level 15 -> 30 -> 50, checking at each treshold if everything is fine, power-wise. For complex ones with new mods, there is obviously less skipping. But that's just for the content, don't ruin your immersion and just play the game :)
So I would replace the padding and mining perks with a trait perk allowing you to use jems to add non-magical effects to armor and weapons similar to the elder scrolls online. For example you might be able to increase your critical hit rate, or reduce damage from certain weapon types.
Greatt video sir. I would like to say that it is annoying to have "fangs" instead of "bitemarks" which made daggers viable in direct combat; do you think that a dual wielding dagger combat method still viable with this mod?
Yes it is, with poison perks. With all the dual wielding perks and all the power attack perks it doesn't even need the dagger perks, they are just a cherry on top. The speed and Stamina cost are worth it by itself. One dagger and blocking, or dagger and shield are better thanthey've ever been due to power attack perks.
I was using sir ruins mods because of ps4 overhauls Lo video. But he says vokrii is "broken". I just want to know if it has alot of bugs so I don't waist another 300 hrs of my life wondering if something works right.
Dunno what he meant. Vokrii is almost bug-free. If he meant "broken" as in "imbalanced", Ordinator is much worse, and most of the OP stuff comes late-game in Vokrii, so exactly where it should be.
I'm playing on PS4 and I cannot figure out why the Quick Reflexes perk does not work. Time doesn't slow down when an enemy power attacks. Has anyone else encountered this? Really ruins sword and shield if that doesn't work.
