What an outstanding game it was. They both fought with everything they had.. what an incredible rivalry Spirit vs LGD is becoming. Two titans, and clearly the best in the world right now
this has to be one of the greatest comebacks of all time. 27k gold down, exposed throne but just team fight their way back into the game. Fantastic finals shaping up to be one of the best rivalries.
Insane, This is the best game I've seen of Dota 2 in the time I've been playing this beautiful game. Team Spirit is too strong!! GGWP YATOROGOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the all-time great Dota games, maybe the highest level of execution from both teams in the same match. So many saves and resets and re-initiations. There were four 5-on-5 clashes with Tier 5 items and everything being used and only 0-1 heroes total dying. Surprised LGD didn't at least attempt a ratting backdoor split push with Razor Aghanim's + BoTs + Keeper Shard Recall to get the Tier 4's down and try to split Spirit up. They ultimately got demolished in a full 5-on-5 at the end. At 1:17:50 you see the window open up even with a Glyph used.
Yup, really surprised why LGD continued to just clash head on instead to taking advantage of the exposed throne. Not necessarily they needed to destroy the throne, but could have created a lot of panic and chaos among TS and forced them into splitting up and making a mistake. Then again, it's 74 mins into a crazy game, must have been tough for even pros like them.
Haha yes remember that one clearly. That one went to 103 minutes though and there were plenty of lull periods in between. But this game was just nonstop from 30 minutes onwards! Also the meta is much faster now so there's that
That game is genuinely not that good, when you go back and watch it again. So much downtime, both teams just being terrified to end and making tons of mistakes that keeps prolonging the game. This one was the two best teams in the world fighting with everything they've got, crazy fights where every spell on both sides is used and no one even dies because of the insane saves, peeling and execution going on. It's night and day if you ask me
