I agree that they should go to both Japan and SK. They're locked in to hold this event for the next three years. Singapore indeed has a small golfing population, and tourists are half the traffic on these courses. They want to improve their golf culture there and become a worldwide golfing destination, because they know that golfing tourism is a high dollar industry and that would be great for the bottom line. All part of Singapore's growth strategy.

@@hb-ze4ug obviously a LIV bot comment but I'll respond anyway - whether it's PGA, a major, or Liv, people want the tournament to excite them, and good golf is part of that but also the reaction, and the atmosphere that a crowd brings. Or are you saying a super bowl, champions league final, Wimbledon, etc, have the same appeal if they were played in empty stadiums? That the atmosphere from crowds gives nothing to the players and has zero impact on the feel and that sporting events should just be played in a sterile environment? Maybe you haven't watched much good golf... Go watch the latest Ryder Cup and see how important the fans are.

This field is miles ahead of the "PGA" tour this week. It's amazing how many people got upset about Jay Monahan getting called out on him stealing from the players and caddies
