Thinking Danny is inexperienced at pool, Jesse bets big money on which one of them will win at playing pool. From season 4 episode 24 titled Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.
Rest easy, Bob. You gave us all the gift of laughter whether it was as Danny Tanner on Full House, hosting America's Funniest Home Videos, or doing standup on stage, you never failed to make us laugh and we'll never forget you for it. Thank you for everything Bob, we're all gonna miss you.
We all love you and miss you, Bob. Danny Tanner you brought to life with unbelievable humor, and you showed Jesse that "Dangerous Danny" Tanner should be feared at the pool table.
For those who didn't grow up with this guy around, you'll never know how much of a fixture he was for those who did... As kids we watched the hell out of this show with our families... Maybe not a big deal to some, but to me, it will always be a memory when I still had all my family on this Earth and we sat together to watch this, something I'll never experience again in this lifetime... Makes me miss my parents and miss my childhood
I didn't watch Full House until I was in college, but I watched AFHV *religiously* as a kid. We had VHS tapes of some of his episodes and I used to quote the dickins out of them. You know how they say there's a Simpsons quote for everything? There's a Bob Saget voice over for pretty much everything. It makes me happy knowing that so many people out there love him and appreciate how much he meant to us when we were kids. His legacy will live on forever, and he will be missed by many.
Danny Tanner & Phillip Banks - 2 of the Best TV Dads of the 90's....and great pool players, too God Bless You Bob Saget & James Avery and Thank You for the laughs and the life lessons that you've taught us R.I.P. Mr. Tanner & Uncle Phil
Actually: rest in peace to four of the best tv dads: mike brady, from the brady bunch, jason seaver, from growing pains, uncle phil from the fresh prince of bel air and danny tanner, from full house
Danny: I'm a hustler Uncle Phil: no I'm the hustler Mother Winslow:(walks through door) Danny and Uncle Phil simultaneously: just hand their money over
There's an episode where Danny tells Michelle that both Jesse and Joey are his best friends, but Joey is his oldest friend. This showcases that nicely. Joey knew how good Danny was at pool, just like he knew that if kept quiet about that, he'd get a cut. Jesse may be his friend, but Joey clearly knows him much better
I love how Jesse keeps agreeing to more games, despite getting whipped in the first one. At least Uncle Phil pretended to be bad a whole game until they upped the price.
Jesse - You knew he was a pool shark? Joey - Well he did go to college on a Billiard Scholarship. Jesse - Why didn't you say something? Joey - Because I just made 10 bucks! (Joey and Danny laugh in Jesse's face)
So, Jesse is good at singing; Joey is good at comedy (only stand-up), and Danny is good at sports. You wouldn't know that if you had just met them, given their opposing personalities. On an unrelated note, I think this is when the dirty Bob Saget we know now was born.
alex kanyima I'm pretty sure a lot of it had to do with her being "born again"... At least she's not even close to being like her brother, Kirk Cameron. That guy is nuts.
@@littlesongbird1 Also love after he said that, he perfectly dodged Jesse's wack then Jess asks: "Why didn't you tell me?!" Joey: "Cause I just made $10." Joey and Danny hush laugh at Jesse.
Bob Saget was is and will always be a comic genius everything that guy touched turned to gold no matter what anyone tells you never underestimate Bob Saget one of the greatest of all time
Danny paid Joey for keeping Danny's secret. Lol just like uncle phil in fresh prince pretended to be bad at pool and broke out Lucille and became good lol
This is my brother's fave episode of full house. He loved it when danny acted like he didn't know how to play pool. So funny. He was so sad when I told him about Bob saget passing away. My family and I grew up watching full house. RIP Bob 🙏
Family Matters Halloween episode with the vampire story was definitely a favorite in our family. Lol The theme park episodes in pretty much every sitcom aren't really all that enticing.
Fresh Prince of Bel Air where Will got hustled and Uncle Phil comes to bail him out ends up hustling the hustler . What was his sticks name? -Get Belinda out? 😂😂😂😂
Boy Meets World is probably one of the earliest examples of poking fun at this kind of thing, as both Eric and the bully end up being terrible at pool.
Except for Boy Meets World. That pool scene involved countless hours of shooting with no one sinking a single pool ball. Lol well until Eric relived the "Mexico Game" on the last shot after Frankie and the Rat left. Hahaha
That and cross dressing episodes. I can't think of a single 90s show that didn't have at least one episode where the men had to put on dresses or the girls had to put on a guys outfit etc. Always played for laughs lol
A Lot Of Sitcoms Didn't Have Pool Hustle Episodes.i Will Name 10; Diff'rent Strokes, Gimme A Break, The Cosby Show, Moesha, Saved By The Bell(I Think The College Years Had One,Not Sure, But That Was A Spinoff Show), The Jamie Foxx Show, The Parenthood, Smart Guy, Punky Brewster And Roseanne.
Once I was playing pool with my dad on Thanksgiving and when he made a shot I was acting like I was trying to blow away his ball from going into a pocket, similar to Jesse. We had a good laugh over it.
