For the basement you could use some of the bead walls from the 60’s-70’s for the wide closet would give some vibes

It changed so much since the last tour. Looks so great. The living room is so moody and cozy. I bet the parties in your lounge / bar room are too much fun.

SO much FUN! Congrats, you both are totally putting your unique personal stamp on your place. Love the retro, vintage & spooky mix! Do you guys ever watch Apartment Therapy on RU-vid? I watch a ton of channels for home decor but that is one I think you both might like because they feature super cool interesting people from all over the US (lots of NYC small apartments too) & the world & you get to see how people express their personal style. Lots of funky places & great ideas. I like the more stuffy channels as well & mid-range ones like Homeworthy but Apartment Therapy is much more creative vs pro-done :)

Love y'alls house, fits your personalities perfectly. Y'all should add if not on your amazon list a shark Vacuum. My mother got me the one that mops/vacuums for our move in gift and literally even with normal everyday maintenance it is ridiculous how much dust/dog hair it pics up. Love yall!

Great idea with the scarves! I just watched a home decor show & the owner said it was too pricy to own this artist's original paintings so she purchased one of her silk scarves for a few hundred dollars & framed it. Assuming the painting was thousands of dollars, from her thinking a couple hundred bucks was a bargain. Clearly, she's never been to the bins ;) lol.

For my bedroom closet from amazon I put a curtain rod and got some shades. I love it, my home was built in 1978 and it had the sliding doors that came off track all the time. I love the decoration, each room has a personality of both of you.

I bought the exact one in 1961 when I redid my room as new high school freshman. Out went the pink gingham and I bought orange throw rugs and that cabinet, and jazz records.
