I have been to the U.S Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson AFB and seen an Me 262 , however, I have never had the honor of sitting in an Me 262 cockpit.

These aircraft could have changed the outcome of WWII had they ben deployed earlier and in greater numbers.....but that is what this simulation is all about?

I don't know, I think that the Germans still would have been overwhelmed by the Russians. There biggest problem was keeping Eastern Front troops supplied since the rail gauges were different so even with an untouched military industry I think that they still wouldn't be able to get those supplies to the front effectively.

Me 262 was build in rather "gran numbers". I have a book of '70 stating it was in the list of 10 german most producted plane of WW2. And it was ready to fly since 1942. Unfortunately for germans, this plane was plagued by a long list of problems, making it largely unefficent. In the time of maximum activity, it's calculated for any Me262 flying there was two in hangar with broken engines. This video shows what Me262 was as intended for: take off, hit a bomber and return safe. Unfortunately this was a task a real Me262 rarely managed to do.

Nice footage, but not very realistic....... The 262 didn't really make head on attacks, that was more the FW-190's. the 262 had such an advantage over the American fighters that they kinda just made shallow dive passes on the bomber formations.

Ja, man kann mit der Maus, Tastatur oder einem Controller steuern. Mit einem Joystick funktioniert aber mit Abstand am besten.

You have to watch out for landmarks. You can measure your position by checking your position relative to one. There are several ways to get your exact position. 1st: fly exactly over a land mark. 2nd: measure your position to two landmarks. By imagining two lines on the map you can triangulate your position. 3rd: Radio Beacon morse code and direction indicator.

You can copy the game from one machine to the other with a usb stick or some other drive. Then you need a no-cd executable.

Skip to 31:45 and take a look. Every one of those contrails on the top left is a P-51. One slightly too narrow turn and you are dead.

the german wikipedia page states 50-90 minutes total possible flying time. So yeah, 50+ minutes is possible.

Keep in mind that he's likely being smart with the throttle, only using it to climb when he needs to and backing off during dives/descents.

Du warst im endanflug zu niedrig und auch zu schnell.Das schlimmste was man machen kan ist im endanflug runterpitchen!!! Das einzige was du machen kannst ist segeln

CLgaming4 War die erste Landung mit dem Flugmodell, ist immerhin gut gegangen. Meine 109 Landungen sehen besser aus ;D
