Dennis MacDonald: Probably not the obvious choice. Beautifully designed as a marina 'loft'. It will sail well enough, with a good turn of speed with the right sails. However, all those beautifully 'easy' control systems add risk when they go wrong (and they will). Complicated wiring and hidden systems will make repair and maintenance more difficult, this is nearly always the corollary of clean, easy control and monitoring. And, all those sharp corners will be a huge hazard on passage. A beautiful yacht for a reasonable price but I think I would prefer one of the more traditional 'blue water' designed yachts for an ocean crossing (IMHO).

@@wynnroberts5388 That's true of any sailboat. This ship is more seaworthy than most because it's completely capable of being, and the largest vessel capable of being, sailed single hand. Especially if it's just one or two people, much of that space can be converted for storage of supplies and equipment. Given the navigation systems it has, and the available upgrades for it, this is an ideal ship for long distance sailing.

Benjamin Filbert explain how it can be single handed when a critical system fails in a storm. Other boats can survive that. What do those procedures look like
