Good for people who can't afford homes where rent and ownership is costing too much. This the next alternative than a van life or living in a car. It uses alot of electricity so hopefully its solar paneled or theres a manual way when the power is out
This is only wishful thinking right now... But, I think if I were to choose, I would like the wedged outside look and length of the T40PF, but with tinted windows. With only 1 main bedroom and closet to the left of the entrance at one end and the bathroom right across from the entrance, Onward down the hall past the bathroom, the kitchen and bar counter, then the living room/dining room area, with no balcony. Delivered to upper BC Canada.
I really like the E40. Seems to just have everything. Though I'm curious, how well does this hold up in extreme cold conditions? I'm talking in the ball park of -40c and below.
And how to do you sip them? Parts by parts? or As a whole piece? by the area you have described. I dont think so its possible that you can send them as a whole piece. You must put it in different pieces and than ship them? If thats the case can you tell me how many container space t40 takes?
So much emphises on "luxury bathroom", but no kitchen? Don't they think that people eat? What about designated space for washer and dryer? Only the first unit had all of this. I have seem better designs that include all that.
Is it possible if we buy more than one and we want to stacked them on top of each other? if yes than how many T40 we can stacked on top of eachother? 2 or 3 or 4? as a four story space capsule building? is it possible? If 4 of them possible to been stacked on top of each other whether the bottom one can handel the weight of the top 3 capsules?
Must be expensive to heat and cool with all that glass. I’d like to see a test of energy consumption. How are these shipped to the USA? How is it kept intact? What is the cost to ship to the USA? If you can even get it approved to live in it here. If approved, you still have shipping costs, electrical, sewer, water, foundation, permits etc., to deal with which can turn this into a pretty expensive house, what is the warranty and how can it be enforced when the company is based in China? I’m wondering how expensive insurance would be in the USA, if I could even get it. Clearly, a lot of questions must be answered before attempting to buy this capsule house, regardless of the cost of the house. What happens if it’s damaged during shipping? If you say you’ll pay to fix it. What guarantees do I have that you will honor it when you are thousands of miles away?
every american modular/prefab housing builder: look at our perfectly bland modernist thing that appeals to everyone. it costs $100,000 chinese modular/prefab housing builder: mass effect 2 luxury colonial flat
The only thing i don't like about these capsule is too much glass. Regular sized windows will do just fine for me with a glass patio glass sliding door. 😊
