My Daughter's Subaru WRX STI NBR Challenge TT02 had a S#!t load of sticker's too. She did a good job with the body and putting the stickers on for her first time ever building & painting a kit. Good job John, looks great. Cant wait for the the dirt run.
@@JohnBattistini00 no problem! I hope your channel blows up. I watched the build series and it was presented well. You get straight to the point, vids aren’t too short or too long and you explain things succinctly. Just finished my xv01 so it’s cool to see Tamiya products still getting love.
This was a cool series/build......I like that the window mask are not pre-cut, you are then able to cut them a little smaller and paint the window moldings .
Awesome channel mate. Ive been looking at this RC for a while and was unsure what upgrades I needed. Very helpful and saved me some money. Keep up the good work
Hopefully you do another TT02 build I've been building my sons TT02 for him and its been one of the most pain in the butt kits for me to build hopefully I can order some of the hop ups soon to finish it up its about 80 percent done.
Sorry I don't have all that info handy. It think its a FlySky RC transmitter (that charges via USB) and receiver, the battery is by Venom I think and I really don't rememberthe servo, but it should be broken out in one of the build videos. I tried to list everything in the description.
I think there's different ways ot attach the poles, look in the instructions and see if there's an alternative position for your body. Not sure, but there might be.
Nice series you did with the build. I just purchased this kit and now I have to figure which hop ups to get. Did you order most of the parts from RC Mart? Prices are good there but shipping is pretty expensive. Keep the vids coming.
I used the same blue but not the PS16. It calls for TS16 which is their formulation for the non-lexan plastic. Once you put a few coats on there it really blends well with the "shine" off the lexan body.
@@JohnBattistini00 Got it from a German shop. Also I was wondering, have you thought of using a Sandshaker chassis? I am ordering one from Hong Kong. It has the Higher suspension and same wheelbase and width. Also, you can lower it as like the TT-02 . So the TT-02T Chassis. (It comes with oil shocks and bearings)
Great question but unfortunately I don’t know. Sorry I didn’t keep track but basically I used the whole can. Just light even coats until it was empty. It was most likely 3 or 4.
@@JohnBattistini00 Thanks for the response. Could you list what colour and paints you used because my kit is coming but I don’t know what paint to buy.
@@stantheman9646 Sure, I just bought the Tamiya ones listed in the manual: PS-16 (Metallic Blue) for the lexan body. TS-16 (Metallic Blue) for the spoiler, TS-29 (Semi-Gloss Black) which I believe was just for the side mirror. Then I used metallic silver to back the blue on the body after i was done and then hit it all with white for good measure. I think that was the whole process.
