Buy an older MPC or some more sound creation tools (synths and modulators)? For reference, I already have the X and ONE but I only have one synth, the Roland JDXI? My number one goal is to build a huge library of unique sounds.
imo if you want that vintage mpc sound the one that's gonna give you that is the MPC 60 since it's got a 12 bit sample rate (he's using an mpc 2000xl btw)
@@RAMENLECHUGA thank you. That’s exactly what I’m into is more vintage sound or unique sound. I own a bunch of vintage synths but just now getting into drum machines. On the Maschine there’s a setting called “MPC60” that I always use so I figured the real thing is a sought after sound
Just curious, what's so special about these older MPCs that people seem to live them so much. Serious question. Trying to figure out if I should get one. Already have the X and ONE.
From what I know, back then when these were made there were no DAWs available so that’s why these MPC were created. You made all your beats, samples on these machines. Almost all of the best producers now were using these machines at some point or are still using them till this day. These machines created the sound of 90s hip hop. Also if you look at J Dilla the legend, he used the 3000. So the legacy of these MPCs will intrigue people to buy one.
@@dmo4332 i use Pro Tools to track and mix only , I'm a hardware guy . And if I was you , I'll get the MPC One . I got it and love it !! Fast to come up with ideas . And you can use it with your DAW easily.
