I know how this feels. Let me tell you the story: My ex bestfriend set me up with her ex obviously I liked him but didn’t want to break girl code because she was my bestfriend at the time. But while my ex & my ex bestfriend were dating she used my ex to get close to his bestfriend. So after my ex & my ex bestfriend brokeup almost immediately her & his bestfriend started dating. My ex was hurt because he loved this girl and that was his bestfriend. Then she set us up and we dated for almost 5 months but we brokeup due to distance then when he came back (he had to move schools for a little bit) all of a sudden they’re together. Did it hurt me? Yes. Because she knew I brokeup with him because I was insecure because he was at another school and she knew I was still in love with him. Did I get over it? Yeah with time and many thoughts of ‘was he just using me like she used him’ & ‘was he lying to me our entire relationship? Did he really hate her like he said he did’ & ‘was he really uncomfortable around her or did he just tell me that to make me feel better?’ And the reason I had these thoughts was because right after we brokeup he went and asked her out. And when he was at our school she would hug him (in front of me because she would hug me first) and he’d always smile then look at me and replace it with a look of uncomfort. But on another note doesn’t this all seem sus? Like they just had a song come out, they had broken up with their S/Os, Jaden supposedly has an album coming out, Nessa is quickly rising a singer, people hate Jaden (for other reasons), people love Nessa (not to sure anymore), they have the same style, when they did interviews when their song came out people started shipping them (and I’m talking back in February before all of this), etc etc. I think it may be a fake relationship and they can’t tell people.

I always thought it’d be so hard if someone I cared about liked my friend or vice versa but we really can’t control if we have a genuine connect with someone. If a friend came to be and told me they truly cared about someone I once dated and wanted to explore those feelings, he’ll yeah it’s be tuff but we’re not obligated to an individual. Ive been in a situation like this as the best friend position and i had no issue with it. Life goes on, clearly it wasn’t meant to work so why not let him go to someone who he’s meant to work with and match perfectly well. Life goes on this is argument thats not meant to be public nor hold grudges. In know i was in pain for a few days but then i realized life goes on.
