Cricket team were world champions even before investment.. they proved there metal that's why the investment started pouring in.. if the same can be done in football then too will have the same sponsorship and investment. After watching the full match, India could beat most of the asian countries with proper adjustment of the team.. Syria in not the best team just better in this game. India lack proper connection between defenders n midfielder , and between midfielder and forward. In this game India focused too much on long lofted pass when India lack composure . Some flaws in defending no man marking , they allow opponent to pass around when they have enough man defending.. Mid fielder with play making ability who could connect both defenders n forwards is lacking in India. Good footballing IQ lacking
