@@everydaynickman To get more endurance you need more trainint, the guy prob neglected his training sessions, plus he has a very explosive style too that requires mad endurance
Why all the hating? Both are great wrestlers. Musukaev is super explosive and strong and Yanni has great stamina, both obviously have excellent technique. Accordingly, the match was very close and highly entertaining. Hats off to both.
Bob Klein musukaev was a world bronze medalist in the hardest weight class last year. He’s an amazing freestyle wrestler. Europeans wrestle at a different pace.
One thing Yianni doesn't get enough credit for is that he is good at tiring people out. I'd say Zain Retherford has the best cardio in the weight class and he get exhausted in some of his matches against Yianni. I think it's just the philosophy that if you want to score on him then he is going to make work your butt off to get those points. I'd say he's got the best (maybe only freestyle funk game). Feel free to correct me, because I want to study anyone else doing what he's doing.
Without a doubt, Yianni would have placed at worlds last year had it been him instead of Zain. Yianni just has more experience on the international level, and can wrestle their style as fluently as they do. He broke Muszukaev, who took out Otoguro, the defending world champ, to take bronze - like seriously.
TheSkyWookie few months long is enough to have a proper preparation for worlds. Which he did apparently. I’ve been in junior national team, I can tell that nobody prepares for the tournaments nearly as hard as for worlds, Europeans, or Olympics. Nobody. Mentally or Physically.
I watched this match when UWW posted it and man I was so shocked at how he just broke him down. Yianni is a freak and I can’t wait to see him at Oly Trials.
Justin ThomasTM you should’ve seen musukaev at worlds, he fixed his conditioning up. And he didn’t break down due to Yianni, he outpaced himself and gassed out. He was piecing Yianni up the entire first period
@@isaiahdeck8747 yianni played a big role in him gassing. most wrestlers would not have pushed the pace like that in round 2. you say he gassed himself--well, he wasnt wrestling himself lmao.
American wrestlers are always the toughest and fittest to get to the top in the US you have to go dozens of matches against NCAA champs, national champs and Olympians the guy who comes out on top is the fittest toughest and most technical
it can happen ? In this sport even to the best of em. I remmber once wrestling 2 weeks my Junior year with the flu didnt tell my coaches it was real Real 👎
Wayne Wallace 3 cautions. And that’s the end of it. Its an automatic win for the opponent. He backed off the mat intentionally. In freestyle you always have to move forward and stay in the middle at the same time.
Why everyone is so excited ?? Clickbait title. It’s pretty clear that his opponent gassed out. Just watch Musukaevs other matches at this tournament, he was running on empty tank the whole day. If he had a full tank Yanni would not make it to 2nd, let’s be honest people.
HardcoreRomeo ok fanboy. Meanwhile Yanni didn’t even make to national team while this guy medaled at worlds. Now does that hurt you feelings lil boy? Stop being ridiculous, unless you’re under 14.
Yanni is nobody now, and Musukaev get the Bronze of World Championship by losing only one point to the Champion (Rashidov), and even this point was controversial. And the fight with Yanni was also controversial. Musukaev get robbed several times.
Musukaev; showed fatigue in first two minutes, hands on knees sucking air , slow return to center; ? either out of condition or some related illness; cut too much weight /
ladev91 kinda crazy I had never heard of Dagestan until today and it’s bc I came across the video of the 1999 beheading of 6 Russian soldiers there. Seems like it used to be a crazy place to live
A lot of Eastern Europeans hate the American style of wrestling and claim it relies too much on strength and conditioning. When Snyder beat Sadulaev, my buddy from Albania claimed "he just ran him out of gas." Combat is about taking away your opponent's weapons and using what you have to dominate them.
That was like when Schwab broke Guerrero the returning national champ in Iowa! Third period Iowa style with the crowd noise put it on him. He let him up and hit the same vicious snap like three times in a row to come back and go up late. Guerrero broke but didn’t forfeit wtf! This was like as a kid when my brother got up 20 points on me in Madden then I fought track the whole game to tie it up and then he shut the game off and said no one won cuz we didn’t finish😂😂😂guy hated the possibility of losing😂😂
I don't think that Russians or middle eastern wrestlers have bad training camps, its just that the American team always sends our men and women to mile high Colorado for training and it shows in situations like the one we saw here. I could be wrong
Greg Snyder not at all he was not abusing yianni... he scored all of his points off of one scramble where yianni exposed his back a couple of times and that’s it . Yianni superior wrestler by far
LouieLou 152 I disagree , but your entitled to your observation. If the guy took his conditioning seriously he would be pretty good! Did you wrestle in high school Louie?
Why does Musukaev ALWAYS intentionally get a passivity warning then immediately shoots for a takedown. Doesn’t that get repetitive and easy to read? What’s the purpose?
