The first drop will result in a crack on the front or back glass, or the screws will pop out, the frame will bend and break the phone, or it will damage the internals from lack of shock absorption. Not tested for damage protection. I'd advise use a cheap good phone as a test and see how it handles drops from varying heights and impacts types. NO way would I trust a 1200+ dollar phone to a 25.00 metal frame knockoff.
Thanks, I agree with your advice. To clarify, the inner side of the metal frame comes with a layer of foam for scratch protection but I feel it will be too minimal to survive a drop. I stopped using it after only a few weeks, reasons below for sharing (for those if intending to try for the latest S24): - The metal frame is adding significant weight (can feel my pocket is heavier) - Mobile signal do drop weaker when I am in underground tunnel. Altho i'm not sure if it is due to the metal frame or underground, but I decided to stop using anyway - The color is not matching to my phone, it looks weird.. haha. Lastly, I also agree that the metal frame bumper is more suitable for smaller/lighter & perhaps budget phones to be safe.
I bought it in Singapore via Shopee. Link below: shopee.sg/Metal-Bumper-For-Samsung-Galaxy-S22-S21-Ultra-S21-Plus-5G-Case-Original-LUPHIE-Luxury-Aluminum-Shockproof-Armor-Irregularly-Cover-i.298870551.13687693128?sp_atk=ddc29c67-39f1-4398-9a5a-14aa7a4ae31f&xptdk=ddc29c67-39f1-4398-9a5a-14aa7a4ae31f
No lo compren, esta mal diseñado y en metal choca con el cristal del teléfono. Destrozo el cristal frontal y trasero de mi samsung s22 ultra. Basura de producto.
