From the start line of the Lost Boy 50 course at Pinyon Wash in the Anza-Borrego desert in CA, we ran through the desert and finished down the amazing Plum Canyon.
We started just before sunset and continued under the light of a full moon. We only turned the flash light on to capture the videos, other than that we ran the entire 21+ miles without needing any flashlight! The moonlight cast sharp shadows and provided plenty of light. Our adventure included bats, open desert washes (without trail), summit pushups, jumping cactus (cholla), and plenty of good stories.
This was by far my favorite running experience in a long time. Glad I could share it with great friends Tracy Moore and Angela Shartel.
